after being in the mall for a while we decided to leave so we walked out to the parking lot and when we were approaching coreys car i saw kobe with jaiden, dejuane, and kanan but i ignored them acting like i didn't see them until kobe yelled my name then walked up to me so i gave the bags to corey and king walked with him to the car while leilani stayed next to me

Kobe: when did she start walking
Y: this morning
Kobe: oh ok proud of her
Y: yup
Kobe: yesterday
Y: no you don't need to explain that you said enough
Kobe: no yesterday i was drunk and high off my ass i couldn't even think straight i'm so sorry i don't want a test on king i know he's mine i was just drunk like a mother fucker but no he looks exactly like me and i do want to spend time with him i'm sorry can we just be friends nothing more nothing less that's it just friends
Y: yea kobe fine but if you pull shit like that again then don't bother apologizing
Kobe: i won't sorry can i um play with leilani and king for a second
Y: sure but i'm not taking my eyes off of them
Kobe: ok that's fine

i called king over and he ran to me really happy and i almost wanted to cry then when i told him about kobe wanting to play with him he started jumping up and down then while they played around i went into the car watching them i saw king running from kobe and him chasing him while they laughed and a tear fell down my face but i wiped it then corey held my hand

Corey: you ok
Y: yea i just know this means so much to king more than kobe will ever know
Corey: one day he'll know he'll look back and remember the smile on king's face and trust me he'll know

i hugged corey then i talked to him, mike, and cherry we were really just making jokes and goofing around until kobe knocked on the window so i rolled it down

Kobe: come on king wants you to play
Y: uhh sure

y/n rolled the window up then she just shrugged her shoulders at corey then got out the car chasing leilani while kobe chased king after a while kobe started chasing y/n while she yelled and ran until jaiden stepped in front of her so she stopped so she wouldn't run him over then kobe came picking her up and acting like he was about to slam her down and she put one leg on the ground while she had one in the air holding onto kobe's arm and laughing while telling him to let go once he did she put her leg down and pushed his head then went to leilani swooping her up

Y: imma get going gotta help someone get settled
Kobe: alright can i get a hug
Y: no you can get a high five

i raised my arm up and kobe laughed then gave me a high five then i told king to come on and i got him buckled in his car seat along with leilani then i got in the car and we drove off listening to music while cherry and mike talked to each other in the back seat then we came to a red light so i got on my phone

Corey: not gonna lie watching y'all play made me jealous as fuck
Y: i'm sorry babe

i leaned over kissing corey over and over again until he kissed me back a few times then once the light turned green i sat back and reached my hand out and he grabbed it and drove with one hand while i talked to him and made him laugh

Corey: are we still going to the beach today
Y: i mean we can we have enough time
Corey: aight y'all wanna come
Mike: yea we're down
Corey: aight

when we made it to the house we got out the car and went inside changing into our bathing suits then i grabbed towels for all of us and got king and leilani dressed then we all got in my car and i held them on lap while corey drove since cherry and mike said they'll meet us up there once we made it i let the kids down handing them their toys and king ran into the sand while leilani went slowly but steady and i got out going with them sitting down while they played

Corey: why you ain't getting in the water
Y: waiting for the others to come so their's someone to watch them
Corey: alright imma be in the water
Y: alright

corey bent down kissing me and i kissed him back then he ran to the water while i watched the kids it was around ten minutes later when cohen, david, aya, and alessya came and the girls wanted to play with the kids so since they were there i went into the water tackling corey and making him fall down then once he got up he picked me up and threw me in while i yelled when i made it to the surface i started swimming away until he came up to me lifting me over his shoulder then slamming me and himself down again

Y: it's time for my payback
Corey: try it

y/n acted like she was gonna hug corey then once she did she spun them around making him fall down then she started running until he came behind her picking her up and spinning her around in a circle while she kicked her legs and laughed

Mattia: damn she looks happy
David: when the hell did y'all get here
Cynthia: a few seconds ago
Michael: hey niece come here

leilani smiled then even though she struggled she got up wobbling to micheal

Michael: she can walk
David: yea she learned this morning

i changed mike to michael so i don't get confused with the other mike 💀
