y/n hung up on kobe and went to sleep soon her alarm went off and she got up getting dressed for school then getting in her car and starting it before she pulled off mike got in with her and they drove to school once they got out mike ran to y/n holding her hand and y/n just looked at him laughing

Y: what are you doing
Mike: um i can't hold my best friends hand
Y: you can i guess
Mike: then hush

y/n kept talking to mike then once they got in the building he walked off and y/n saw kobe with a group of the basketball players so she went up to him holding his hand and smiling at him

Y: hey
Kobe: what do you want
Y: um to talk to you
Kobe: i can't right now
Teammate: is that your girl
Kobe: uhh hold on guys

i looked at kobe confused as he pulled me to the side and told me "leave i'll talk to you later" i snatched my hand from him and walked off a little embarrassed that he didn't tell them we were dating so my eyes were watering a little but it'll be fine so i just went in class sitting down and getting on my phone texting cohen about what happened and like the over protective little brother he is he sent me a video ten minutes later of him booking a ticket to come see me and he had it scheduled for tomorrow i laughed and continued talking to him then kobe walked into class sitting next to me he tried to talk to me at first but i didn't listen soon he just stopped talking after class i got up walking out and he ran up to me

Kobe: what's wrong with you
Y: no what's wrong with you kobe
Kobe: nothing i'm fine
Y: you wouldn't even tell your friends about me
Kobe: i'm working on it
Y: i refuse to put effort into this relationship just for you to be embarrassed of me
Kobe: i'm not embarrassed of you
Y: yes you are you made me leave just so you could talk to your friends and somehow you thought i wasn't going to be upset i am upset kobe i'm fucking hurt
Kobe: come on y/n i'm going to tell them soon just not now
Y: i'm not trying anymore until you put your pride to the side and stop acting like i need to be kept a secret because if you don't want me i'll leave and you won't have to worry about me anymore
Kobe: baby

i ignored kobe and shook my head walking off to my next class i sat down next to devyn and she kept talking to me even though i really didn't want to i responded to her and we ended up having a conversation then after the bell rung we went to lunch and sat down at our table while we were talking kobe walked over and sat next to me but i didn't pay attention to him

Ava: um so what we doing after school
Y: uhhh i don't know i might go home and chill for a little or i might go to a donut shop
Ida: i heard donuts i'm in
Kobe: um can i come

y/n ignored him until kenzie looked at her then rolled her eyes and told him that he could come after lunch the last class was nothing special anyways once that class was over y/n and mike went home and they sat around waiting for everyone to come once they got there they all got in the car and headed to the donut shop as they walked in y/n was talking to mike about which ones she should get then she turned around seeing kobe not talking to anyone just looking around or at the floor so she felt bad and she walked to him grabbing his hand and bringing him with everyone else

Y: so which ones do you think i should get
Kobe: uhh maybe the chocolate covered ones
Y: i was actually thinking about getting those so i might go for it what are you getting
Kobe: i don't know yet
Y: what if we got two dozens of them and we can just share it that way you won't have to pick an exact one we can just get a bunch of them
Kobe: alright that'll work

they ended up getting two of each donut for them while they waited for the others to pick once they got the ones they wanted they went to the house and while the others were downstairs kobe walked upstairs with the donuts while y/n poured two glasses of milk and walked upstairs with them she then laid them on her nightstand as she got under the cover eating donuts with kobe

Kobe: i'm sorry
Y: it's fine kobe
Kobe: if you really want me to then i'll tell them about you i just didn't want to because we have this thing on the team where when once of us get a girl they try and flirt with her to see if she'll cheat
Y: well i'm not going to cheat on you kobe if i didn't want you or didn't like you then i wouldn't be dating you
Kobe: i still don't want them all over you
Y: one i'm not going to talk to them and two if you don't want to tell them about me then don't that's your choice and it's up to you kobe i'm not going to force you to do anything you don't want to
Kobe: i'm going to tell them soon just not now our relationship just began and i don't want them trying to break it when it's just now forming so soon i promise just not now
Y: it's fine kobe i'm serious
Kobe: alright

we kissed then i laid my head on his shoulder while we continued eating donuts and watching tv shows
