after a while i pulled out my phone bored then i looked at instagram and saw dejuane made a post so i looked at it then i showed the boys

Y: y'all wanna go
Cohen: to his firework party are you sure
Y: yea you're sixteen now and david is seventeen so it's not like y'all are babies
David: can we drink
Y: i don't care as long as no cops come
David: alright i'm down
Y: ok come on boys get dressed and let's go
Corey: what time does it start
Y: it says seven thirty
Corey: what time is it now
Y: six o clock
Corey: alright

all the boys got up getting dressed and putting on nice outfits and i put on a blue dress with black heels and put my hair half up half down then left two strands out in the front and laid my curls on my shoulder so they look nice then i sat on the bed until the boys came out

Cohen: we look nice
David: for real i'm proud of us
Y: alright what time is it
Corey: seven
Y: alright we gotta get going

we got in the car and drove to dejuanes house and he told us to walk into the backyard so we did and we saw everyone back there with sparklers

Dejuane: if you wanna pop any fireworks they're on the table pop as many as you want
Y: alright

dejuane walked off and i turned around to face the boys

Y: i know y'all aren't babies but y'all are my responsibility so meet back here no later than ten thirty
Cohen: roger that
Y: i'm serious
David: alright ten thirty
Y: look after each other and don't drink too much
Cohen: alright stop worrying and go have fun
Y: alright

me and corey walked to the table getting sparklers and lighting them then we started doing the disney thing and after a while that dumb mother fucker started chasing me with his so i ran and i almost ran into someone until i stopped myself then he slowly started walking to me

Y: corey do not touch me with that
Corey: i'm not i'm joking

i rolled my eyes then me and corey went back to playing and lighting fireworks watching them burst in the night sky then we grabbed a cup of juice and walked to the curb sitting down looking up at the sky to see the fireworks pop above us

Corey: do you ever feel like sometimes even when there's a bunch of people around you just feel alone
Y: yea it sucks
Corey: yea but ever since i met you it never feels like i'm alone anymore it feels free
Y: i know what you mean it's like when i met you the people around me actually started appearing to me at first it was like i had no one and i really didn't want anyone at that time
Corey: it's crazy you find someone who's exactly like you inside and out and you have no idea what to say to them
Y: exactly when you find someone who's just like you all you want to do is say the right thing because your scared to lose that person because then it's as if that's why everyone leaves you because you couldn't even keep the person who's just like you
Corey: it's also weird though because you can be yourself around that person but due to part experiences all you can do is be half of yourself and hope that's the half they like
Y: because deep down you think the second you show your other side they might not like it
Corey: so that the side you keep deep down
Y: as you only let the good side show
Corey: maybe that's our bad trait
Y: what
Corey: being scared to show both sides of our selves being scared to show the good and bad we only show the good because we think that's what people want to see from us but we don't show the bad so that means we never truly show ourselves because we're scared we won't fit someone's expectations even though the only ones that should matter is ours
Y: so when's our wedding

me and corey laughed then we took sips of our juice and looked at the sky the fireworks were still popping and corey looked at me while i looked at him we were like that for a while then we started leaning in i almost kissed him until cohen and david ran up to us yelling my name

Cohen: so we were getting like shit faced drunk then cherry came up to us and spilt a drink on us then some girls came and cleaned us up they gave us hickies bro

cohen and david pulled down their shirts showing us and all i did was shake my head

Y: anyways why did cherry waste drinks on y'all
David: i don't know but i thank her because it got us some cuddie

cohen pointed to cherry and i got up as corey followed me then i walked up to cherry and knocked her drink out of her hand

corey laughed then i rolled my eyes at cherry and we walked off playing with sparklers again and popping fireworks
