Mortal Kombat: Fire and Ice

Part 3: Chapter 5

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: The two hybrids stomp forward. Smoke and Jiri prepare themselves. The striped one moves first,  even faster than the other one, his blades moving at an incredibly deadly speed. He breathes fire from his mouth in an attempt to burn both brothers alive.  They narrowly avoid and escape- only for the other one to punch them both away. His blades come out and he attempts to stab them but they teleport away. As soon as they do, the striped one appears and tries to slash them. This pattern continues on for a little bit. Every time they avoid an attack from one hybrid,  the other one is immediately on the offensive and trying to take them out.

Caption: Two months ago. The lab.

Panel 2: We see Shang Tsung with Father Menendez and Nicole. In front of them is a portal,  through which they observe the non striped Shokan. He can be seen engaging a group of men in white robes.

Caption: The men in white robes are rivals of Los Demonios.

Panel 3: The hybrid easily tears through the rival group, using a mixture of the Tarkatan blades and his own brute strength to decimate them. He also breathes fire from his mouth and shoots them from his fists. He uses the signature jumping stomp on one, completely crushing him, and he uses his four limbs to grab another one and use all four arms to tear off his enemy's arms and legs. Another one gets hit so hard that his entire upper body just explodes. Three of them attempt to attack from behind,  but their efforts are futile,  as he turns and backhands them,  causing their heads to violently explode.

Panel 4: Another one gets his head crushed like a grape. One gets burned alive. Another one is cut in half by the blades. The hybrid roars in victory as he stands over the now dead bodies of the rival cult.

Panel 5: We cut back to the group. Father Menendez is grinning.

Victor: A ruthless, efficient beast! He's exactly what we need!

Shang Tsung: Indeed! Now let's check in on his brother. His brother is actually stronger and even more aggressive, yet they've both proven to be quite intelligent and capable of working together and thoroughly planning out their attacks as opposed to being just mindless brutes.  After all, the Shokan have shown to be very intelligent.  Great intelligence combined with incredible strength and the savagery of a Tarkatan. Quite a wonderful specimen.

Panel 6: We see the striped,  armored one approaching an armed group of enemies. They immediately begin shooting at him, but the bullets bounce off his armor.  They toss grenades at him next. The hybrid merely jumps into the air before he can be caught in the explosion.  He lands on the back on one member,  crushing his body and head as a result of the stomp.   He stomps on another one,  however he doesn't get crushed. Instead,  the hybrid uses his four arms to grab the arms and legs of the victim and violently tear them off.

Panel 7: The hybrid grabs another one and we see him execute Goros X ray attack from MKX. He wrenches their head sideways and breaks their neck before pulling their waist and violently stretching them out,  breaking their spine and ribs.  The final blow is dealt when he punches their face, caving their skull in. He tosses the body down and breathes fire on it, completely reducing it to ashes. He also burns a few more who are attempting to attack him. Four more shoot but he merely unsheathes his Tarkatan blades,  walks through the bullets and proceeds to cut them all in half.  He picks up one on his blade and raises him in the air, roaring triumphantly.

Panel 8: We see Victor and Nicole nodding in approval at the scene before them. Shang Tsung smirks as well.

PAGE TWO

Caption: The present.

Panel 1: The brothers continue to be pressured by the elite teamwork of the hybrids, constantly dodging attacks. Smoke gets clocked with a right hand from the striped one that sends him spiraling back. Jiri is hit with an uppercut that sends him into the air and gets hit with a knee to the body as he comes back down.  The striped one tosses him into the air again and his brother grabs him by the head and slams him into the ground hard enough that he literally gets his entire body planted into it.  The non striped one attempts to stomp on him but he manages to teleport away and finally lands a successful attack as he lands a flying smoke covered kick to his jaw and manages to land a successful flying knee to the jaw of the striped one. He hops back and helps Smoke up.
