Mortal Kombat: Fire and Ice

Part 3: Chapter 6

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: Nicole chants something and quickly extends her glowing hand towards the brothers. They attempt to move out of the way, only to see they weren't even seemingly attacked. The two of them look a little perplexed.

Nicole: I didn't attack you two yet. I merely placed a healing spell.  You both took quite the amount of damage in your last fight, so I figured I'd help.

Smoke: Why would you help to heal us?

Nicole: I'm not a fan of attacking an enemy when they're weakened.  To myself and to my dear Victor,  there's no honor in that. It's an act of cowardice in my eyes. You see, I believe that it's far more rewarding to defeat an enemy at their best.  Striking when they're damaged and not at 100 percent does nothing at all for me. No, I simply prefer to prove that I can beat my foe when we're both at our strongest and prove that I'm better.  Way more fun that way, don't you agree?

Jiri: I'm surprised you people have any sense of honor at all. Sacrificing others in your futile attempt at immortality isn't exactly an honorable thing I'd say.  Although in a way I respect that your group at least follows some sort of idea of an honor code.

Nicole: Unlike those other heretic groups,  we actually maintain some sort of order. Those filthy heathens seek to twist our beliefs. To corrupt our values! They don't truly seek the glory of the Enenras, they don't want to spread the word throughout the realms like we do! These pretenders only seek wealth and don't put in the effort to attain the immortality and power we work so hard for! Power to make all the realms fear us and become blessed with the word of the Enenras!

Smoke: The Enenras wouldn't accept any members of your group. You seek to use its power for evil purposes. In order to use it your heart needs to be righteous and you have to use it for good.

Nicole: Oh believe me we've got our methods to ensure the Enenra's power becomes ours. But first, we must subdue the vessels.

Panel 2: Nicole kneels down and touches the floor,  chanting something.  We suddenly see large chunks of rock come out of the ground from where she is. They're immediately launched towards Smoke and Jiri, who teleport out of harms way just in time.  Not deterred,  she summons more rocks and manipulates them, trying to attack from different angles.

Caption: Nicole is actually a member of the powerful race of the Earth Elementals, similar to Tremor. However unlike Tremor she doesn't have a rock like appearance,  due to only being half Earth Elemental. Her father is a member of that race while her mother is a human.  While she doesn't have the rock like skin of full blooded Earth Elementals,  she still retains their deadly powers. 

Caption: Aside from her geokinesis and the ability to control, create and manipulate rocks of any kind, she can shake the ground, create not only rocks of any kind but she also has the power to use and create any kinds of metal, golds,  crystals and even molten magma. Causing eruptions in the ground and the usage of fireballs is also something she's capable of doing.

Panel 3: Nicole continues her assault, causing the ground to erupt from the feet of the brothers every time they try to land.  As Smoke and Jiri both jump to avoid being caught,  she summons a gigantic rock and launches it directly at them,  causing it to slam into them violently in midair and break some of their ribs. They crash down to the floor. She then summons molten lava and attempts to use it to burn them, but they're able to move out of the way.   The two of them both get up and teleport directly in front of Nicole, immediately launching a combined attack and not giving her any time to react or counter.

Panel 4: They bombard Nicole with smoke covered attacks and smoke bombs, causing visible damage.  Smoke breaks her jaw with an elbow while Jiri breaks her ribs with a knee. They end the attack with a double smoke uppercut that sends her flying into the air and crashing down. As she gets up, we see her robe is tattered and damaged,  and she looks visibly angry.
