Mortal Kombat: Fire and Ice

Part 3: Chapter 8

PAGE ONE

Caption: Outworld. Erron Black's house.

Panel 1: We see what looks like a nice countryside house. A four door pickup truck can be seen parked outside.

Panel 2: We go inside where we see a couch and a wall with a bunch of pictures. Most of them are of Erron and a woman as well as a young lady who bears a resemblance to him and the woman.

Caption: Errons wife Bri and their daughter Annabelle.

Panel 3: Erron steps into view.  He looks at a picture of him with three other men also dressed in similar cowboy getups.  We see the initials A.M, E.B, J.M and D.V.D.L. Erron removes his hat and places it over his heart,  head bowed and eyes closed. After a few seconds he opens his eyes,  puts his hat on his head and goes to the kitchen. We see a woman with red hair,  tan skin and brown eyes with a nose piercing.  She wears green cargo pants,  black boots and a black tank top. She kisses Erron.

Caption: Errons wife Bri,  a member of the Special Forces.

Bri: Hey sweetheart, ready for lunch? I made meatball subs.

Erron: Hell yeah. Is Annabelle almost here?

Panel 4: The door opens and we see a young woman enter.  She has Errons hair and nose but resembles her mother in the face. She also has Errons eyes.

Caption: Erron and Bris daughter Annabelle.

Annabelle: Hey mom hey dad!

Erron: Hey sweetheart. How was it?

Annabelle: It was fun. I always enjoy seeing my friends.  Kori and Damian are looking into a new truck and the bakery ran by Hannah's mom recently got a perfect rating from some top bakers. And I was able to get Dominic something nice for his birthday next week.

Bri: Sounds nice what did ya get him?

Annabelle: A new kit to clean his weapons and new boots.  Italy is gonna love it!

Caption: Annabelle calls Dominic " Italy" due to his Italian heritage.

Erron: He'll definitely love it.

Panel 5: The family sits down to eat.

Caption: After lunch.

Bri: Erron, sweetheart would ya mind checking on the horses?

Erron: Sure thing darlin.

Panel 6: Erron heads out to the stable. He pauses as he sees a figure dressed in yellow.

Erron: Scorpion? What are you doing here?

Panel 7: Erron watches as the figure goes from yellow to blue to green to red.

Erron: What the hell?

PAGE TWO

Panel 1: Erron cautiously steps forward.  The figure changes color to pink. He wears an MK2 ninja outfit.  Erron hovers his hand over his revolver.

Erron: Who the hell are you and what are you doin here?

Panel 2: The figure moves at a blinding speed.  Erron is unable to draw his revolver but he dodges the attack.  Erron gets him against the wall and lands a left hook to the body, right uppercut, left hook to the head and a right body knee. The opponent pushes Erron away using soul energy.

Pink ninja: Erron Black. Despite lacking powers, you're still a very skilled and a great fighter.

Erron: Heard it all before. Now tell me who the hell you are and why you showed up to my home.
