Part 3: Chapter 11

PAGE ONE

Panel 1: We see Bi-Han ready himself for battle.

Bi-Han: What business do you have here?

Floyd: I'm seeking to challenge the one known as Sub-Zero.

Bi-Han: My brother is busy right now.

Panel 2: We see Sub-Zero and Kitana appear.

Sub-Zero: Bi-Han! What's going on? I sensed the presence of Hanzo,  Tomas, Reptile and Ermac all in the same place.

Kitana: We came as soon as we sensed it! Somethings about it felt strange.

Bi-Han: He's a creation of Shang Tsung.

Floyd: I'm more than just a creation of Shang Tsung! I'm his greatest creation wielding the powers of the strongest warriors in Earthrealm! Sub-Zero, you will face me in battle!

Sub-Zero: I'll do no such thing.  You are interrupting an important moment with my family. You'd be wise to leave as I do not wish to be bothered at this time.

Caption: Bao had recently been awarded several scholarships to colleges and his parents decided to celebrate with a nice dinner.

Floyd: Surely you can take ti-

Panel 2: We see that Floyd was cut off because Kitana is holding one of her fans to his stomach while Sub-Zero is holding an ice sword to his neck
Both are staring a hole through him. Floyd closes his eyes, nods and backs away slowly.

Sub-Zero: Find a place for us to engage in battle and I'll oblige after I'm done spending time with my wife and son.

Floyd: I understand.

Panel 3: Floyd teleports away in a burst of flame. Kitana put a hand on his arm.

Kitana: Let's get back to celebrating.  I left Bao in the temple, just in case an enemy had infiltrated the inside.

Panel 4: They both head back.

Caption: Shirai Ryu training grounds.

Panel 5: We see Akira and Jade sparring together. Jade uppercuts him. Akira comes back with a knee to the body that staggers her. He catches a kick and sweeps her. She gets back up and hits him with a shadow kick that sends him back.  Akira is able to recover and hits her with the same teleport flaming left hook Scorpion lands.  A buzzer goes off. Both stop and Jade hugs him.

Jade: You're improving so fast! Oh I remember when you were just a little boy always asking your father and I the purpose of each specific strike!

Scorpion: It's become second nature to you at this point.

Akira: Well having expert martial artists for parents helps a lot. What were those other techniques you were talking about dad? I've been dying to see what they were!

Scorpion: The Izuna Drop,  Flying Swallow and Guillotine Throw. Those techniques were taught to the Shirai Ryu by a clan known as the Hayabusa clan.

Jade: You did mention you befriended one of their members right my dear?

Scorpion: Yes I have. Although I haven't seen him in a very long time.

Panel 5: We get a glimpse of a ninja with a silver headpiece dressed in all black with intense green eyes and a sword across his back.

Scorpion: I hope you're doing well Ryu. Anyway, Amino and Asai have been preparing training dummies for the demonstrations. Satoshi is helping as well. Follow me.

Panel 6: We see Scorpion standing with the others in the training area surrounded by training dummies.

Scorpion: These techniques are difficult to execute. It took me a month to learn one variation of the Izuna Drop. Don't feel discouraged if it takes you multiple attempts. First I'll demonstrate the Guillotine Throw. It's got the least amount of steps and is the least difficult technique to get down. Watch closely.
