Panel 1: Shang Tsung saunters up to the group and bows. Victor and the leader bow back.
Shang Tsung: Greetings Marcus and Victor, I'm glad you could both come.
Marcus (the cult leader): Thank you for having us Shang Tsung.
Victor: Indeed, I look forward to this discussion.
Shang Tsung: Likewise. Now then. Kano, have you informed these two gentlemen of the weapons shipment?
Kano: Sure have mate.
Shang Tsung: Splendid. Now if you will, follow me. I shall show you the plans for this fighter I am creating. It's nearing completion, once I add a few more touches.
Panel 2: Shang Tsung leads them through his laboratory, and opens a door that leads down a set of stairs. As they walk down, we see that they enter his Flesh Pits. It has the appearance of the MK1 iteration, complete with the horrific abomination we see, the human looking one bound in chains with organs hanging out. We also see a dead Shokan on a table, as well as what looks like dead Tarkatans. He leads them all the way to the back, where we see a man encased in a glass tube. He wears a pink ninja outfit, the same one as the MK2 ninjas. His skin is ghostly white.
Shang Tsung: Behold! He's at 90 percent completion. The DNA is still fusing with his body.
Victor: You mentioned he's composed of the cells and powers of the strongest fighters.
Shang Tsung: Yes. Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Rain, Noob Saibot, Tremor, Ermac, Smoke, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and even Raiden, Fujin and Shao Kahn. All of their DNA has contributed to what I've been creating. Once I had gathered enough sufficient DNA, I combined it with a drop of human blood to form a body. After that I encased him in this tube. I injected him with the essence of each fighter slowly to ensure the process went smoothly. You see, injecting him with all of the powers at once would only result in the experiment failing, as it would overload him. So I injected him with needles, and once he is done I will free him.
Marcus: What do you plan to do with him after the process is complete?
Shang Tsung: I plan to test him out against the strongest fighters of course. He will prove to be a valuable asset in my plans for victory.
Kano: So this pink bloke has the powers all the ninjas and then some. Do ya got a name for him?
Shang Tsung: Not yet. I'm sure I will come up with one in time. For now though, it's more important that the process is successfully completed.
Victor: I see. I look forward to seeing him when he's finished.
Marcus: Likewise. Now then, it's time we leave. Our sermon starts soon. Thank you for having us, Shang Tsung.
Shang Tsung: Of course. Allow me to help you get there.
Panel 3: They head upstairs, where Shang Tsung prepares a portal that the two brothers step through.
Caption: 10 minutes before the encounter with Father Menendez.
Panel 4: We see Victor standing next to a woman, also dressed in a red robe. She takes his hand in hers and squeezes it.
The woman: Darling, you can sense them too right?
Victor: Yes I can my dear. The Enenras have arrived. I can sense their power Nicole.
Nicole: Do you wish to confront them first or will I?
Victor: If I may my love, I'll fight them first. I must get a small idea of how they fight, and I wish to test my new abilities as well.
