~Chapter 80~

The next day

Kristina's POV
I woke up around 10:00 am, and I went downstairs.

"The cop told me that the police haven't spoken that much about us after he got back to the station yesterday", Joanna told me when I came downstairs.

"What's his name?", I asked.

"It's Alaric Smith", she said.

"Can Dory and I go out tonight?", I asked Joanna.

"Not tonight.. we don't know what the police are up to", she explained.

"Ugh.. fine", I said.

I went to talk to Dory.

"I asked Joanna if we could go out tonight and she denied it", I told her.

"Well, then we can sneak out", Dory said.

"Sneak out? I didn't know you did stuff like that", I said.

"I'm the one who caught you drinking that night I was gonna sneak out.. so yes, I sneak out", she said and giggled.

"Okay, we can sneak out", I said.

We ate dinner around 6:00 pm. While we were eating dinner, I went to the toilet and when I came back, Joanna had filled my glass with coke. I didn't drink for a while, because I was busy with the food.

"Aren't you gonna drink? You haven't drank that much today, you'll need it", Joanna said.

I drank it, but that was a mistake. After we ate dinner, I was gonna leave the table, but Joanna grabbed my hand.

"Wait, I need to talk to you", she said.

"About that?", I asked.

"At first, I want to ask you if you thrive here?", she asked.

"I do.. most of the time", I said.

"What do you think of Alex and I?", she asked me.

"You're pretty cool, but sometimes you can be a bitch", I said. When I realized what I just said, I got embarrassed.

"What the fuck, that wasn't supposed to come out of my mouth", I said.

Joanna looked at Alex and smiled.

"Well, now that I know the drug worked then I'm gonna ask you if you know something I don't", she said in a serious way.

"Wait, you drugged me?", I asked.

"That's right, I put some kind of truth drugs in your coke", she explained.

"And now I want you to tell me if you're hiding something", she said.

"Dory and I are planning to sneak out tonight..... fuck, why are you doing this?", I asked.

"I thought it might be fun", Joanna said.

"I need to leave this room quickly, before I say too much", I said as I got up from the chair.

"No, you're not", Joanna said.

"Sit down!", she raised her voice.

"Make me", I said as I ran upstairs, but I fell in the stairs. When I got up on my feet again, Alex came behind me and grabbed me.

"Don't make us force Dory to tell us things.. remember you're not the only one we drugged", he said as he held me.

"Please, leave her alone", I said.

"Fine, but at first you're gonna tell us who's idea it was to sneak out", Joanna said.

"It was Dory", I said.

"What? I'm sorry", she said.

"And I am too.. for telling them you did it", I said.

"I know, you're just affected by the drug", she said.

"Go to your room both of you.. I'll be there soon", Joanna said as she went to get a key.

"Please", I said.

"Go upstairs, now! Before you're regretting it deeply", she said as she picked up her gun.

We went upstairs, and Joanna locked us up.
