The Life Changing Vacation

~Chapter 7~

Three hours later

Joanna's POW

I feel like a monster now, I'm afraid to get a really bad relationship with Kristina.

Alex and me were planning what to do, and how we were gonna prevent the girls from calling the police.

"Should we take their phones?", Alex asked me.

"No, that will just make it worse", I answered.

"What should we do then?, He asked.

"I think we should try our best to make them both happy. Maybe go shopping, go see a movie or bake a cake or something", I suggested.

"That's just weird.. they probably hate us.."

"We'll try", I said as I went to get my car keys.

I went to the store to pick up some stuff. Then I went home. When I got home, the time was around 9:30 pm, and I went to make some supper for the girls, then I went upstairs to tell the girls that the food was ready. But when I got upstairs, they have already fallen asleep with the light on. They were exhausted. I turned off the light and went downstairs.

The next day

Dory's POW

I woke up around 9:00 am, I went downstairs and I could see Joanna making breakfast in the kitchen.

"Good morning, the pancakes are ready soon. Will you please go wake up Kristina?", she asked.

"Yeah, sure", I answered.

I went upstairs to wake up Kristina.

"Hey, Kristina. Wake up, Joanna has made breakfast", I said as I entered the room.

"Coming soon", Kristina answered.

Then I went downstairs, while I was waiting for Kristina to come.

"How are you guys doing?", Joanna asked.

"Well, I'm doing just fine. Kristina's not doing so well..but she's trying", I answered.

"I hope she's doing better soon. I want you to know that I'm trying too. We're really trying to make you trust us", Joanna told me.

Then Kristina came downstairs, and she smiled when she came into the dining room. That was good to see, and it made me happy.

"Good morning, how are you doing today?", Joanna asked Kristina.

"Fine, I guess..", was all she answered.

Then everyone ate breakfast together.

Two hours later

Kristina's POW

I went to talk to Alex alone, and wanted to find out which one of them who killed my parents.

"Can you please be honest with me, and tell me which one of you who killed my parents?", I asked. Then he told me what exactly I wanted to hear.

"Well, I'm gonna tell you the whole story about what happened. At first Joanna called me and told me that she had found two girls that she meant could help her find the guy that stole her money. It was my idea to use your parents as a threat. Then she heard you call your mom, and then she knew she had to hurry. She had to find them. So I hacked your phone and found your parents. Then Joanna went to kidnap them, and then she went back to McDonald's to find you again. But when she talked to you, she knew that she weren't gonna be able to persuade you to find the guy. After she kidnapped you and your friend, she wanted to let your parents go. When we let them go, they grabbed a knife and tried to stab us, so I shot them both in self defense. Now you know the truth", he said as he walked away.

It was shocking to hear that they killed my parents in self defense. They didn't even want them to die, they just wanted us to find the money. I went to tell Dory what Alex had said. She got shocked. I know I shouldn't be that mad at them anymore.
