The Life Changing Vacation

~Chapter 20~

Kristina's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night. I were going to check the time, but my phone was gone. Dory's phone was gone too. I were tired, so I just went back to bed.

Then I woke up again around 9:30 am, and I went downstairs. Joanna weren't home.

"Where's Joanna?", I asked Alex.

"She went to pick up some stuff at the store", he answered.

"And where is our phones?", I asked angrily.

"We took them", he answered.

Then Dory came downstairs.

"Why?", she asked.

"Because we don't trust you anymore", Alex answered.

"Hey, I know I did a mistake. But I promise not to tell anyone else", I said.

"You did one mistake? No, you've made several mistakes. We trusted you enough to let you go alone to a cafe and then you came home from a party. And now you've told someone about our biggest secret. And what about the time you and Dory tried to run away? No, I forgot. You've tried to run away twice", he explained and walked away.

"Oops, I think we just ruined our relationship with them", I said and laughed.

"We've just started to become friends with them. And then you ruined everything", Dory said.

"I'm sorry", I told her.

"Well, I tried to stop you", Dory said and went to talk to Joanna who just came home.

Dory's POV
I went to talk to Joanna about the thing that happened yesterday.

"Joanna, I know you're upset. But please don't blame me for something I wasn't a part of. I tried to stop her. And you should know that Kristina is sorry", I explained.

"Did you really try to stop her?", she asked.

"Yeah, I did. I was scared Lucas were gonna call the police. I started to like you guys, and didn't want you to go to jail", I answered.

"That's really sweet of you", she said.

"Kristina don't want you to go to prison either. She just told him because she felt lonely, and now she regret it. Please just give us our phones back, We're  not gonna do it again, especially after the thing that happened last time", I explained.

"Well, okay..But I swear, if you're telling someone else, then there will be further consequences", she said and handed me our phones.

"Thank you so much", I said and went to give Kristina her phone.

Kristina's POV
After I got my phone back, Joanna came to me and asked me if I really want to stay here.

"Well, I do want to stay here. But at the same time, I feel a little uncomfortable", I answered.

"Have you forgiven us", she asked.

"For what?", I asked.

"For the murder of your parents", she answered.

"I'm still broken for it, but if you haven't killed my parents then I wouldn't be here. And to be honest, I've almost lost my social anxiety after I came here, so I forgive you", I explained and laughed.

"I'm glad to hear that", She said.

Then I didn't know what to say. I were just standing there looking stupid.

Then Joanna broke the silence and asked "maybe we all should go to the theaters tonight?"

"Sounds fun", I answered.

Then we went to the theaters, and watched a good horror movie. When we got home, I was exhausted so I went to bed.
