The Life Changing Vacation

~Chapter 82~

Kristina's POV
Around 11:45, we went to bed.. actually we didn't but we pretended that we did, haha!

"Don't try to sneak out.. there will be consequences, remember you're already grounded! One mistake, and it's over", Joanna said before we went to our room.

Around 1:30 am, we snuck out. We went to McDonald's where we bought burger and milkshake.

"Excuse me, do your parents know you're here that late?", one of the people who worked here asked us.

"It's fine, we're 18", Dory lied.

We sat down, and Dory started talking about what Joanna would do to us if she found us.

"She's like.. insane you know", Dory said right before I recognized Joanna.

I got afraid, I just stared over Dory's shoulder.

"Dory..", I whispered.

"What?.. oh.. fuck.. she's standing right behind me, isn't she?", Dory asked.

"That's right", Joanna said.

"Now get in the damn car, you're not supposed to be here", she said.

"I don't think so", I Dory said.

And then Joanna put one of hands in her pocket and hinted that she had a gun, to make us listen to her.

We went into the car with her, and from the second we came into the car, she started yelling.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?", she yelled.

None of us answered. I just sat there trying not to cry.

"You have a week to be more obedient.. if you succeed, then you're not grounded anymore.. but if you don't listen, then you're stuck in the house for a month, do you understand?", she demanded.

None of us still didn't answer.

"Do you understand?", Joanna repeated.

"Yeah, we do", I said.

"Good", Joanna said.

When we came home, Joanna slapped us both across the face.

"From now on, I'm gonna lock your bedroom door every night as long as you're grounded.. and you're not even going out of the house to get some fresh air at the day.. now go to bed", she said.

We went to bed and we fell asleep.
