~Chapter 14~

Kristina's POW
Dory and I woke up in the basement. It was dark down there, and the door was locked.

"My head hurts", I said as I tried to open the door.

"My head hurts too", Dory answered.

"I'm so confused. At first, they tell us that they care about us. And then they make me think they don't", I said.

"I really wonder why they're doing this", Dory said.

Then we could hear someone coming down the stairs. It was Joanna.

"Why are you doing this? I thought you said you cared about us", I asked.

"I do care about you, I just don't trust you. You're trying to escape, that's why we locked you up", she explained.

"Go to hell", I told Joanna.

"Fine!", she said and left.

Dory just looked shocked at me.

"What?", I said.

"How the hell did you dare saying that to her?", she asked confused.

"I really don't know", I said and laughed.

Joanna's POW
"Alex, I don't think this is working. They're trying everything they can to escape", I said.

"I know, but I think it only makes it worse to threaten them", he answered.

"You're the one who punched them!", I said angrily.

"Well, you're the one who locked them up", he answered.

"Ugh, fine. I'll release them", I said and went downstairs.

"Girls, you really should turn to this. Let's go bake a cake together", I said.

"Wow, so now you're becoming soft again", Kristina answered.

"It were nothing else to do", I said.

"I bet it was", Dory answered.

"From now on, no one is arguing", I demanded.

Then we went to bake a cake. After we enjoyed the cake, Kristina came to me and wanted to talk to me.

"I'm really sorry for trying to run away today, and for telling you to go to hell", Kristina said.

"Hey, you shouldn't be sorry. I deserved it. By the way, I've figured out something. You and Dory don't have to go to school" I said and smiled.
