Kristina's POV
Suddenly Joanna told me that she wanted to talk to me alone. I got nervous.
"I just wanted to see how you're doing", she said.
"I'm fine, but I just wish you trusted me and Dory enough to let us go outside", I answered.
"I did, but you broke that trust", she said.
"Do you really think we wanna Stay here?", I asked.
"No, but we don't have a choice. At first we wanted to kidnap your parents just to scare you, but then Alex killed them in self defense so now we need to prevent you from telling anyone, and this is the only way to do it. Now we should just forget everything that happened and start over. I just hope you are willing to try", she said.
"I'll try my best", I answered and wiped a tear that just ran down my face.
Then she smiled at me, and walked away.
Then Dory came to me, and we were just standing there talking for a while.
"Haha, are you excited for tomorrow when Alex is gonna go on that job interview thing?", she asked.
"Yeah, but I'm a little scared. If he's becoming a cop, then he's getting stronger than he already is", I answered and laughed.
"True, but it's going to be okay if we're being careful", she said.
