Kristina's POV
After Joanna put Janice to bed that night, she came to me and told me she wanted to talk to me. ''Is something wrong?'', I asked. ''No, I'm just wondering something. You called us your family earlier today, why? After everything we've done to you'', she looked confused at me. ''Well, after all these years, it must have been impossible not to call you my family. I've known you for like three years or something. So no matter how much I desire to hate you, I can't, because you were the only ones I had'', I explained.

''But we took everything from you. Your home, your family, your freedom. We even manipulated you so much that you got your heart broken once you found out'', Joanna said. ''I know, and I can't forgive you for that. But still, it's not easy to not look at some people as your family, after spending such a long time with them'', I told her. And with that, Joanna put down her glass of bourbon, and asked ''do you just consider us family, or do you even care about us?''. I didn't know what to answer. I didn't even know if I cared about them or not, after everything they took from me. ''Let's just call it a family with.. a lot of complications'', I laughed.

Joanna's POV
I could see Kristina's insecurity. I knew that everything wasn't perfect yet, as I thought it was. But now I even realized that it was maybe too late. The mistake was done, and there was nothing we could do about it. Sadly for her, that didn't stop me from continuing trying to earn her trust back. One day, I even asked her if she wanted to learn how to drive, and maybe get her license. She got shocked. ''What!? Would you be alright with that?'', she asked. ''Of course, you're not 15 years old anymore, you got this'', I smiled. She looked a little suspicious at me. ''You're not trying to brain wash me again, are you?'', she asked. ''No, I'm not. I just want to make up for everything'', I told her.

''You mean for kidnapping me? For slaughtering my parents right in front of my face? For torturing me every time you don't get what you want? For almost killing me? For denying me freedom? For making me do illegal stuff, take others lives? And for everything else? I hate to tell you this, but there's nothing you can do to fix all that. I might look at you like you're my family, but that does not mean that I'm looking at you like a good one'', she said and walked away. I got a little upset.

I didn't exactly feel very bad for all that, but I still wanted to make her feel home with us. If she didn't feel home, then there would be a lot of arguments, and there would be a lot higher chance for her to go to the police if she got mad in one. If she felt home and cared about us, the she wouldn't. That's why it would be so important to make sure she forgave everything we did. It wasn't that hard to help Dory, because since we found out she was my biological daughter, the one I gave up for adoption years ago, she had been getting so much along with us and had sometimes been calling us mom and dad for a long time now.

Even though Kristina didn't want to forgive our actions, she still agreed to practice drive with me. It was fun teaching her how to drive. Sometimes things started to escalate because of her mistakes and the anger, but it was totally fine. Except when she almost crashed the car into someone else's car, or when she almost drove right out of the road. ''Aaah, you're gonna get us killed!'', I yelled while she was trying to drive in the middle of the city. ''I'm sorry!'', she yelled. ''And don't forget to stop at red light'', I sighed. It was always fun to tell Alex and Dory how the driving was going, when we got home.

But one day, we met a really unexpected person while Kristina was practicing driving. Emma. She wore a black hoodie, a black pair of jeans and black boots. If you don't remember who that was, well, she's the girl that found me on the dark web, looking for someone to get revenge on Kristina and Dory through. She was jealous at Dory, and blamed Kristina for choosing her over her. Emma begun wanting to kill Kristina and Dory, so we forced her to leave town. And suddenly, we found her in the middle of Los Angeles. ''Emma? Is that you?'', Kristina asked her. ''Oh shit. What are you doing here?'', Emma asked. ''That's none of your business. Wasn't I clear when you left? If I saw your face again, there was no more chances. You remember that, right?'', I asked. ''Please, just stay away from me. Just forget we ever met, alright?'', she asked. ''I don't think so. You see, when I promise something, I'm keeping it'', I told her. ''What do you want from me?'', Emma asked. ''Your life. That's all. But if you have more to offer than just some idiotic jealousy then go on, show me what you got'', I giggled.

It was getting dark, and there wasn't a lot of people where we were. So we took the chance, to abduct Kristina's old friend, and bring her to our new house. I took my gun out of my pocket and aimed it at her. ''Why don't you be a good girl and get in the car? And then I'm maybe giving you one more chance to get the money you wanted to work for'', I said with a grin. ''And if I don't?'', she looked nervous down at the ground. ''Then I'm finishing what you started on Kristina about two years ago or something'', I warned her. There was no choice for her, but to get into the car. If she didn't then she would be dead.
