The Life Changing Vacation

~Chapter 95~

Joanna's POV
I went down to the basement to talk to Kristina, but she was gone. Dory was gone too.

"Shit!", I yelled.

I went to get my car keys, and then I went looking for them. They didn't answer the phone or anything. Then it hit me.. Mcdonald's! I didn't check the place they always go.. When I came to Mcdonald's, I saw them in the window. They recognized me and tried to hide. I pretended I haven't seen them. I snuck into McDonalds, and I immediately went to the bathroom door. I used an elderly woman to lure them out.

"Hi, i'm sorry if i'm interrupting something. But I saw you run to the bathroom so I wondered if you were okay? Did you just need to pee or were you trying to hide for someone?", the woman asked.

Kristina and Dory opened the door.

"Hey, we're fine, thanks for asking", Dory told her.

And then I walked over to them.

"That won't last very long", I said.

They panicked and tried to close the door, but I held it open and I walked into the bathroom with them. I locked the door.

"What the hell were you thinking!?", I asked.

None of them answered. It looked like Kristina was trying to communicate with Dory by using body language.

"Answer me!!", I yelled as I slapped Kristina on the face.

"Ouch!", she yelled. She started crying, and blood ran off her nose. She had never cried by being hit before. Her nose looked a little different.

I asked her to shut up before someone heard us.

"Joanna.. I think you broke her nose", Dory said.

"Relax, I didn't break her nose.. and if I did then it was her own fault", I said.

"People are gonna recognize her nose when we leave McDonald's", Dory said nervous.

"The question is IF you leave McDonald's.. tell me what you were thinking before I blow your head off", I said as I took a gun out of my purse.

"I tried to protect her.. what were YOU thinking?", Dory asked.

"I was pissed", I said as I took a paper towel and helped Kristina with the blood.

"Ugh.. you should go see a doctor", I told her.

We went back home, and then I called a doctor. Kristina's appointment was tomorrow at 11:00 am.
