Joanna's POV
I called Alex and demanded him to come back home.

"The girls got taken by the child welfare!", I yelled.

"What? You got to be kidding me", he said.

"No, I'm not kidding! We need to find them", I said.

"Find them? How are we supposed to do that?", he asked.

He was right, it was so hard to find them. But after a month, we finally did it. We went to pick them up, and we found them alone outside of their new home.

"Kristina! Dory! Thank god, you're alone.. let's go home", I said as I grabbed Dory's hand.

"No, we're not going anywhere with you", Dory said as she pulled my hand away from her.

"What? Of course you are going home with me, I'm your mother", I said.

"Not anymore", Kristina said.

"Honey, please", I said.

"You want us to call the police on you?", she asked.

"Trust me, you don't want to do that", I said.

"This is my home now.. they have given me a better life this month than you have given me in a year", she said.

"What did you just say!?", I asked her.

"What did she just say!?", I asked Alex.

"Bad move", Alex said.

"Now get in the damn car", I said as I hit Kristina.

"Ouch! Are you trying to get a bad relationship with me again?", she asked.

"You're the one turning your backs on us.. now get in the fucking car before I blow your new family's heads off", I said as I picked up a gun.

Kristina and Dory just stood there looking shocked at each other. Alex and I had had enough. We grabbed them and physically forced them into the car.

Kristina's POV
We couldn't scream, because we were afraid they would hurt my new family. We almost forgot the doors in the back seats of the car couldn't be opened from the inside. So we were stuck. They caught us.

"Please let us go", I begged.

"Shut up", Alex said.

I started to cry a little. Dory just sat there looking down at her lap.

When we got back to the house, they let us out of the car and then they demanded for us to go inside. Dory went into the house, but I didn't. Joanna hit me.

"Get in the fucking house", she said.

I didn't. She hit me again. I still didn't listen to her. She hit me so many times that I bled so much. I passed out.
