Kristina's POV
I got a little nervous of what would happen when we came home, but I trusted that they wouldn't be that pissed since we helped them. When we came back home, Joanna sighed."You got us in prison.. And now, you and I are gonna have a little chat", she told me.
"Joanna", I started.
"No", Joanna put her hand up for me to shut up.
"I was just doing what was best for you! You're not capable of taking care of a child yet! You're 15 years old, you haven't even graduated yet! And then you're getting us arrested for the rest of our lives? Well, let's just say that you deserve a lot of pain right now, for what you did to us! But I'm choosing to go easy on you", Joanna said as she filled a pot with water and put it on a hot stove.
"What are you gonna do with that?, I asked.
She giggled.
After the boiling water was done, she emptied the pot over my head.
"What the hell? You call that going easy on me?", I asked.
"Oh don't be dramatic, you're lucky I didn't cut off your hands", she said as she smacked me in the face.
"We need to pack our bags, we're leaving tomorrow", Joanna told us.
"Where?", Dory asked.
"I don't know, where the police won't find us", she said as she took up her phone. She started searching for houses.
"We're moving? Again?", I asked.
"That's right", she said.
We packed our bags, and then we found a house in New York. It wasn't that expensive, and it was nice on the outside and on the inside. Alex and Joanna bought the house for almost 700k dollars. Joanna woke me up at 6:00 am.
"We need to go", she said as she dragged my duvet off of me.
"Joanna! What if I didn't have a bra on?", I said.
"Nonsense, you sleep with pajamas shorts and tops all the time", she said.
"Get out of bed", Joanna sighed.
We ate breakfast, and then we went to the house and got the keys. We moved in right away, without going on a house viewing.
The house had no neighbors, it had a big backyard, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, etc..
The woods were almost right outside of the house, and if we walked down through the forest, we came to a little place where it's beautiful to swim and have small parties. The view from the beach was beautiful.
We unpacked the most important things, and then we went to bed because it was late.
I woke up around 8:00 in the new house. I've always been a kind of person that wakes up early in new places. Joanna had already woken up."Good morning", she said.
I didn't answer, I was still a bit upset.
"Look, I'm sorry", she told me.
"I know.. I know you are.. you just wanted what was best for me", I said.
I felt a tear was about to come off my eye.
"No, don't cry", Joanna said and hugged me.
"Are you crying because of the pregnancy thing?", she asked.
"Yes, I am", I said.
"I understand you're sad, I was sad too when I gave away Dory when she was born", she explained.
"But she didn't die.. I've killed a child", I said.
"You didn't kill the child, the doctors did.. and by the way, it wasn't a child yet, so it doesn't actually matter", Joanna told me.
"Doesn't matter?", I asked.
"Hey, I didn't mean it that way", she said.
"I get it", I said and walked away.
Suddenly, Alex came downstairs. Dory came downstairs a few minutes later. I overheard Alex and Joanna talking.
"I don't know what to do anymore", I heard Joanna say.
"It's fine, she's gonna get over the baby, and hopefully after a few years, we've become a 100% normal.. family", Alex told Joanna.
I started crying a little. Much of the tears came from happiness. I felt that they really meant what they said because they said it to each other when I wasn't there.
