~Chapter 147~

Joanna's POV
After a week, I chose to actually let Dory and Kristina go to school. I wondered if it really was a good idea or not, but I knew they had to get educated. I explained to Alex that I was a little nervous about they going to school.

"Hey, I'm sure it will be fine", he told me.

"How are we going to tell them about the school idea? Kristina hate school", I said.

"Just warn her a little.. tell her that if she wanna be alive then she needs to go to school", Alex laughed.

"Good idea!", I said.

"Really?", he asked me.

"No", I took a sip of my morning coffee.

When Kristina and Dory came downstairs around 10:00 am, we told them about the school we just found on the internet. It was better and more expensive than the last one, because it was private. I explained that it was a good opportunity for a good education.

"I don't want to", Kristina said.

"You wanna live in the United States without an education? Forget it! You're going", I said determined.

I could see Kristina knew she didn't have a choice.

"Fine, I guess", she said.

The next day I had a meeting with the principal and their teacher alone. The meeting involved the rules, and other basic things that's on a school. When the meeting was done, I looked at the teacher.

"Don't let anyone mess with me or my daughters", I said and walked out of the office.

They begun at the new school a week later.

"How was your day?", I asked when they came home from school.

"It was just fine", Dory explained.

Kristina nodded.

The next weeks turned out so good, they thrived at their new school. One day, they had a test in history. Dory got an A, while Kristina got a B. It was good to see them get good grades, because then I was sure they had motivation, and that's a good sign. But the well-being didn't last any much. People begun to recognize them more. Again. Dory and Kristina heard people whisper behind their backs.

One day they came home from school, Dory ran to the bathroom and threw up.

"Are you okay?", I asked.

"Yeah, I probably just ate something", she explained.

She passed out, and I caught her. I called 911, and we went to the hospital with her. The doctors told us that she had gotten poisoned.

"Will she be okay?", I asked.

"She will, she just needs some time, let her stay home from school and don't let her out of your sight because she can pass out again", the doctor explained.

When we walked out of the hospital, Dory looked at me.

"The principal did this to me, Charles Carter", she told me.

"What? Why would your principal poison you?", I
asked.

"I talked to him today, he offered me a cup of tea and asked about my family", she explained.

"What did you tell him?", I asked.

"I just talked about you, he thinks you're my family", Dory said.

"Thinks? Are we not your family?", I asked.

"Joanna.. of course you're my family", she answered.

The next day, Kristina went to school alone. I knew it would be hard for her, so I wiped her tears and hugged her tight.

When Kristina came home from school, she was crying a little again.

"What's wrong?", I asked.

She told me that at the end of the day, she was alone at school, and her principal had invited her up to his office and then he had raped her.

"I'm gonna get that son of a bitch!", I said and went to get my car keys.

I walked into the school, kicked the door open at the principal's office, and locked the door with a key I found on a shelf. He tried to escape, but I kicked him in the face and tied him to a chair.

"All the things I'm going to do to you, you better listen and tell me everything!", I raised my voice as I held a knife to his neck while holding his hair back.

"I poisoned Dory to get yours and Kristina's attention, and you know why? Because I know! I know who you are! And I know what you've done! I wanted to see how far you could go after the threat at the meeting when they started here", he explained.

"Shame on you", I said as I slammed his head down at the table in front of him. I took an electro shock thing out of my purse and shocked him to death. I cleaned up the mess, and I wrote a note that said Charles quit the job as principal.

I brought his body into the forest and I got a rage attack, and stabbed the dead body like 30 times. I burned the body and went inside. I followed Kristina into her bedroom because she was going to bed.

"You really don't have to come here, I'm not 5", Kristina giggled.

"But I want to.. sorry for putting you into that school. And I want you to know that even though I can be evil, I still love you", I smiled kissed her forehead.

"Good night", I said and turned off the light.

I went to see how Dory was doing. Alex was taking care of her and preventing her from fainting. She had fallen asleep on the couch. We didn't want to wake her up, so Alex and I just went to bed.
