Kristina's POV

The next day

It's the next day. We ate breakfast and talked. It was only good mood until I asked if Dory and I could go to a party, and they said no.

"Why? You really should let us go. Don't you think we want to find some friends?", I asked.

"You have each other", Joanna answered.

"Why can't you just let us go to that party?", Dory asked.

"If you continue asking, then you're not gonna like what's happening", Alex said.

Dory and I got mad. We ran upstairs to the bathroom and called the cops. We told everything that had happened, and waited for the police to come.

"You really shouldn't have done that. Open the door right now", Joanna demanded.

I didn't answer.

Alex went downstairs to lock the door and prevent the police from coming into the house.

"Please open the door, we're not gonna kill you", Joanna repeated.

I didn't open the door. I wanted to wait until the police had come.

After about 15 minutes, the police were outside. Alex and Joanna went outside to kill the cops, but failed. They got arrested. Dory and I got sent home to our families. Dory got sent to Hungary to her parents while I got sent to Norway to my sister and her husband.

Dory and I were video chatting all the time. We were talking about the things that had happened earlier. I missed them all, even Alex and Joanna. We just started to become closer to them, and then we ruined it. After a few months, I got a phone call from the New York City Police Department. They told me that Alex and Joanna had escaped from prison. I got nervous. I bet they were furious at Dory and me, and wanted to get back at us. One night when I was alone at home, the door bell rang. I went to open the door. When I opened the door, Alex and Joanna stood there.

"Have you missed us?", Joanna asked.

I panicked. I tried to close the door again, but they held it open. I tried to run upstairs, but then Alex took up a gun and aimed it at me.

"Don't take another step", he said.

I stopped running and put my hands in the air.

"Why are you doing this?", I asked.

"You're the one who got us in jail. We tried to warn you", Joanna said.

"Please, just leave me alone", I begged.

"I don't think so", Joanna answered.

"You take her back to America, while I go to Hungary to find Dory", Alex told Joanna.

"Promise me that you act normal at the airport", Joanna said.

We went to the airport, and waited for the plane. I bit my nails all the time. Joanna saw that I was nervous.

"It's gonna be okay", she said.

I didn't believe her.

When we came to the house, I just stood there looking down at the ground.

"Aren't you gonna come inside?", Joanna asked.

"I don't want to", I answered.

"You told me that you didn't want to go back home to your family", Joanna said.

"And I was telling the truth", I answered.

"Then why don't you want to come inside?", she asked.

"Because I know nothing is gonna be the same anymore", I explained.

Joanna just looked at me, and said "sorry".

"For what?", I asked.

"For this", she said and punched me in the face. I passed out again.

I woke up in the same room I used to sleep in. I heard someone walking up the stairs. Joanna came into the room.

"How are you feeling?", she asked.

"Dizzy and nauseous", I answered.

"Please give me your phone", she said.

"Why?", I asked.

"I don't want you to call the police again", she explained.

"I won't", I answered.

"Give me your phone", she repeated and took up a gun from her pocket.

"You're not gonna kill me. You're just threatening me", I said.

Then she shot me in my arm.

"Are you insane?", I shouted. I quickly gave her my phone and ran to the bathroom and grabbed a towel. I almost couldn't breathe because it hurt so bad.

"You should have listened to me", Joanna said and helped me with the wound.

"Please tell Alex to not kidnap Dory. I promise not to call the cops if you please leave her alone", I said.

"Well, okay. I'll call him", she answered and picked up her phone.

"Alex, where are you?", she asked.

"I've just kidnapped Dory, we're on our way to the airport", he answered.

"Just bring her back home to her family, and leave her alone", Joanna said.

"Why? She was so happy when I came to pick her up", he said and laughed.

"Just leave her there", Joanna answered and hung up.

"She got happy when Alex picked her up", Joanna told me when she hung up.

"Really?", I asked.

"Yeah, maybe you should be more positive like her", she answered and laughed.
