The next day
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Emma's POV
I woke up around 09:15 am, and I were so grateful that I survived the night. Kristina and Dory were still sleeping, and I didn't want to go downstairs alone. So I waited for about and hour and then they finally woke up. We went downstairs to eat breakfast. But on our way downstairs, I stopped in the middle of the stairs.
"What's the matter?", Kristina asked.
"I don't want to go downstairs", I answered.
"Why not?", She asked.
"It's embarrassing, but to be honest I'm a little scared", I explained.
"It's gonna be okay, trust me. They're very kind people as long as we don't try to escape", Dory said and laughed.
When we came downstairs, we met Joanna in the kitchen making waffles.
"Good morning, have you slept well?", she asked.
Both Kristina and Dory answered that they had slept well, but I was just staring at the floor not saying anything.
"What about you, Emma? Have you slept well?", she asked.
"I guess", I answered and shook my head while looking at Kristina.
Joanna saw me.
"Hmm.. got you", she said as she giggled.
Kristina's POV
After we ate breakfast, I went to talk to Joanna alone.
"Can you please let Emma go home", I begged.
"Of course not, I know She's going to tell on us", she said.
"Don't you notice that  she's terrified?, I asked.
"It's hard not to notice it.. but if we let her go home then we have to threaten her, is that better?", Joanna asked.
"Yeah, it definitely is better", I answered.
Joanna's POV
I went to talk to Emma about it, and she told be that she really wanted to go back to the hotel where her dad and stepmom were.
"Promise me that you won't tell anyone", I said.
"I won't, I swear", Emma answered.
"If I find out you've told someone, I'll make sure it's your last. Do you understand?", I threatened her.
"Yeah, I won't tell anyone", she repeated.
We took her back to her hotel, and then we went back home. I could see that Kristina was a little upset.
"Are you okay?", I asked her while eating dinner.
"Not exactly. I really miss Emma", she explained.
"But it was your idea to let her go", I said.
"But I knew it was best for her", she said and wiped a tear.
