The Life Changing Vacation

~Chapter 11~

Dory's POW
Me, Alex and Joanna are trying to find Kristina. We can't find her, so I'm afraid they're gonna kill her once we do.

"Maybe we should split up?", I suggested.

"No, we're not splitting up. You're staying right here, and you're not going anywhere", Joanna answered.

We walked for a while until we finally found her.

"I'm here", We heard Kristina say.

"There you are! Tell me you didn't do something you shouldn't do", Alex said.

"No, no, no. I'm so sorry, but I couldn't find the way back and my phone died", she explained.

"Let's go home", Joanna said.

We went home and got ready for bed.

"You have no idea how worried I was", I told Kristina.

"Why?", she asked.

"I was afraid you left me or something. And I was afraid that Alex and Joanna would kill you", I explained.

"I would never leave you, and I would never call the police or something else either, because I'm terrified of Alex and Joanna", she said and laughed.

Joanna's POW
"Alex, I wonder why Kristina didn't run away today. I feel that she's starting to feel safe here. Maybe she's starting to feel that we care about them", I told Alex.

"Or maybe it's because you're so damn hot", he flirted.

"I'm a little worried. Maybe she's just afraid of us. Maybe she chose not to leave because she's terrified of what we would do to her?", I said.

"That's what makes you so hot", he said and laughed.

"I'll talk to her about it. If she's still awake", I said and went upstairs.

"Kristina, honey. Are you awake?", I asked.

"I am, but Dory's not", she answered.

"Can I talk to you?", I asked.

"Yeah, sure", she answered.

"I just need to ask. Why didn't you run away today? You had the opportunity. Was it because you were afraid we would do something? Or was it something else?", I asked.

"There's three reasons. The first one is because I didn't want to leave Dory, the second one is because I actually feel that you guys care about me. And the third reason is................because I'm scared", she explained.

"Well, I want you to know that as long as you stay here, you don't have to be scared of anything. But you should think twice before you try to escape. So I understand that you were afraid today", I told her.

"Joanna, can you please tell me.. do you care about me?", she asked.

I would say no and try to act cool, but I chose to be honest, so I answered "yeah, I do care about you".

She looked a little shocked, and I could tell she didn't believe me, but I just walked out of the room.
