~Chapter 99~

Joanna's POV
I went back upstairs and I saw Kristina looking mad at me.

"You hurt a child?", She asked when I came into the living room.

"He's Lucas' brother", I told her.

"What!?", she said.

"Stop being dramatic, I can tell why your best friend left you", I said.

"She didn't leave me, she just went back to the hotel", Kristina said.

"Oh really? If she was your friend, would she really leave you like that? No, she would help you escape", I explained.

"What do you mean? What are you trying to say? Where's Dory by the way?", she asked.

Suddenly, Emma came into living room aiming a gun at Dory's head.

"Emma? What are you doing here?", Kristina asked as she got up from the couch.

"No, sit down! Don't move", she said.

"What are you doing? Please don't hurt her", Kristina said.

"So listen to me! Don't move a muscle or your friend dies", Emma told Kristina.

"Emma, you were my best friend", Kristina said.

"I had a chance to get something better.. you replaced me with her, Kristina", Emma said.

"I didn't", Kristina said.

"Oh? I was the one who used to join you on vacations", Emma explained.

"I'm sorry", Kristina told her.

"Kristina, you're going to stop being so dramatic.. it's just lives.. why do you care?", Emma asked her.

"Just lives? Damn, you've changed", Kristina said.

"Are you going to stop being dramatic?", Emma asked.

"Emma!!", Kristina yelled.

"Wrong answer", Emma said as she took a pocketknife and cut Dory's hand.

"Emma!!", I yelled as I ran over to Emma and tried to get the knife and the gun.

She threatened to shoot me.

"Sit down before I blow your head off", she said as she aimed the gun at me.

I put my hands in the air and sat down.

"Did Joanna hire you to do this?", I asked.

"I hired myself.. I came to her", Emma told me.

"Betray me again, and I will kill Dory", Emma said as she let Dory go.

"What the fuck? How much is Joanna paying you to help her?", I asked.

"Nothing.. like I said, I came to her", Emma said with a grin.
