The Life Changing Vacation

~Chapter 12~

The next day

Kristina's POW
It's the next day, Dory and I just woke up. Now we're going downstairs to eat breakfast.

We went downstairs, and sat down at the table.

"Well, you guys should start going to school. I'm starting to trust you now, so I thinkt that's a good idea", Joanna said.

"Really?", Dory asked in a mad way.

"I hate school", I said.

"I understand, but do you want to be locked up here for the rest of your lives instead?", She asked.

"Of course not", I answered.

"Hell nah", Dory answered.

"Then it's settled. Let's go to target and buy some stuff that you'll need for school", Joanna said.

I rolled my eyes. I have never liked school. I didn't thrive at my old school, so I really hope I like this one.

Four hours later

We're done buying stuff. I really don't want to to school tomorrow, but I know I have to. Maybe it will be better if I know that Dory is there with me.

"Joanna.. I just wanted you to know that I have social anxiety, and this can be very hard for me", I told her.

"I'm sure you will be fine, just call me if you need it", Joanna answered.

Dory's POW
I were just chilling in bed with my phone when I heard someone knock on the door. It was Joanna.

"Hi, do you have the time to talk?", she asked.

"Yeah", I answered.

"I just wanted to see how you're doing. I've talked a lot with Kristina lately Because Of her dead parents, but I haven't been that good at talking to you. So tell me, are you okay?", she asked.

"I'm a little scared, but i'm fine", I answered.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow?", Joanna asked.

"A little", I answered.

"I want you to know that you can talk to me whenever you need it, I'm always here for you", she said.

"Thank you", I said.

"Do you want to talk about something now?", she asked.

I didn't answer, I just started crying. I tried to hold back the tears, but I couldn't.

"Ohh, sweetheart.. what's the matter?", she asked me.

"I want home", I cried.

"I know, I know.. and I'm sorry", She said as she comforted me.

"Please, just send me and Kristina home to my family, and we'll promise not to tell anyone", I begged.

"I can't do that", She said.

Then I ran to the bathroom and locked the door.

Suddenly, Kristina came to me and wondered why Dory was crying.

"What did you do? Why is she crying?", she asked.

"She's homesick. Why don't you go talk to her?", I asked.

"Okay", she answered and went to the bathroom door.

Kristina's POW
"Dory?, please open the door and talk to me", I said.

Dory opened the door.

"I don't want to be here anymore, Kristina", she said.

"It was your idea to give them a chance", I told her.

"I know, but I just miss my family", Dory said.

"I understand, me too", I told her.
