Dory's POV
The next day, I woke up around 9:30 and I went downstairs.
"We need to talk", Joanna said.
"I'm sorry", I said.
"No, I don't want to hear it! You're grounded", Joanna said.
"What the hell? I just tried to celebrate.. take that as a compliment", I said.
"I do.. but you shouldn't be drinking, you're only 15 years old", Joanna explained.
"Stop act like you care about me", I said.
"Dory, I'm your mother.. I've carried you in my stomach for nine months straight", she said.
I just rolled my eyes and went upstairs.
"No wait, give me your phone", Joanna said.
"What? No", I said.
"Give. Me. Your. Phone.", she repeated.
I handed her my phone and went upstairs.
After a few minutes, Joanna came upstairs.
"Tell me, did Kristina tell me the truth when she said she didn't drink?", I asked.
"Fine.. she drank a little", I told her.
Joanna sighed.
Joanna's POV
I went to talk to Kristina who was eating breakfast. I grabbed her by the hair and pulled her back. I held a pocketknife to her neck.
"Why are you lying to me?", I asked her seriously.
"About what?", she asked.
"Don't play dumb, you know exactly what I'm talking about!", I raised my voice.
"I'm sorry, I didn't drink that much though", she said.
"But you did it, and you lied about it", I said.
"You promised me that you weren't gonna hurt me", she said.
"Well, you should start to get to know my manipulation skills", I giggled.
"You lied to me!!", she yelled.
"Shut up before I cut your main artery off", I threatened her.
"I'm not gonna harm you unless you listen to me. Hand me your phone and go to your room", I said as I slapped her. She handed me her phone and went upstairs.
Suddenly, Alex came.
"Damn, strict and crazy mother", he said and kissed me.
