Kristina's POV
I sat in my room, shaking. My heart was beating faster than ever. I was afraid of what Joanna was gonna do when she came back to the house. I wondered how upset she really was. I was just hoping she would take it easy. It didn't seem like that though. The way she disappeared out of the house. After about 20 minutes, I heard a knock on the door. I went to open it, and Joanna stood there.

Joanna's POV
''Why did you do it?!'', I yelled. Kristina didn't know what to say. She explained that she didn't know. ''I tried to be a parent figure for you! I tried to help you'', I told her. But she didn't believe me. I thought it was all pure manipulation. ''Go to hell'', she said. But she instantly regretted it. I took a gun out of my pocket and hit her unconscious with it. ''With pleasure'', I said and walked out of her room.

I of course grounded Kristina, but that didn't stop me from continue trying. Trying to earn her trust. One day, she directly told me that I was never gonna become her mother. Not after everything I had done to her. ''Kristina, I am just trying to make you feel loved'', I explained. ''All too bad, cause I'm never gonna feel loved again as long as I stay in this house with these people. I couldn't even connect with the family that adopted me, before you ruined everything. Again'', she said. I didn't know what else to say, other than I was sorry. She turned around and said ''being sorry isn't gonna change what you've done. In fact, I actually hate you'', she told me and walked away. I got really upset about that. I always deep inside knew that she was right every time she explained that there still was hope for me. To change. Maybe she was always right. If we didn't care at all, we would have killed both her and Dory the first day I met them. But we didn't. We took care of them for so long. That would be impossible if we didn't care about anything.

I went to talk to Dory, and I thanked her for being so honest with us, the day she exposed Kristina. I explained that we really appreciated that she refused to help her. ''Well of course, you're my mother. I can't lie to you. Actually, it wouldn't be a lie, cause I really do love you'', she said and hugged me.

The next day, Alex and I fugured out Kristina's true punishment. To light a hospital on fire. It was really hard to convince her to do it. ''Are you for real? I can't do that, I'm putting so many innocent lives in danger! I refuse!'', she yelled.

''Oh but you will, unless you wanna take their place'', I said.

''Fine, it's better that one person die than a hundreds. So go on, kill me! Cause I'm not gonna do it'', she explained. I looked at Dory who was sitting by herself, reading. ''You're not the only one I have the ability to put in danger'', I said with a grin. ''Maybe not, but you would never hurt Dory'', Kristina told me. I giggled before thinking. ''A Murphy would do anything to get what they wants. If I'm gonna have to murder my daughter to make you suffer, then so be it'', I said.

''Then do it. Show me. Otherwise, I won't believe you'', she explained. Dory looked up at me with terrified eyes. ''You're not actually gonna do it, are you?'', she asked. I picked up my gun, ready to pull the trigger. ''Mom?'', Dory was shaking. ''Mom, please. You're not gonna do this. You can't do this'', she said. Alex quickly got up from his chair, and was ready to stop me.

''Joanna. This is your daughter. Put down the gun'', he said. ''You don't have to murder your own kid to prove you will get your revenge on me'', Kristina told me. I then realized what I was about to do. Hurt my own daughter. With that, I slowly put down the gun and wiped a tear that just ran down my face. ''You're right, I can't do her any harm. But you are gonna light that hospital on fire either you want it or not'', I pointed at Kristina and then walked away.

Later that evening, Kristina came to me and asked if she really had to do the thing I told her to. I explained that if she didn't do it, then I was gonna do it. And with that, more.

Kristina's POV
I could only imagine what harm Alex and Joanna would inflict at the city if I didn't Burn down the hospital, so I knew I had no choice. I was just hoping everyone would get out of the building, safe in time. That night, they drove me to the hospital, gave me gasoline and a lighter, and then they demanded me to lit the whole building on fire. Little did they know, that I wrote a little note that I put on a shelf in the entrance. The note said ''run''. I started the fire, and then we all left in a hurry. I was crying when going back to the house. I would never want to hurt anybody. Unfortunately, the note was a really bad idea. Because already the next day, the police showed up at the door. ''Kristina Murphy, you're under arrest for lighting a hospital on fire'', one of them said. ''What? No, I didn't do anything! I'm innocent'', I lied. I looked at Joanna who were just standing there with a grin on her face. ''Do something!'', I yelled. The police brought me down to the station into the interrogation room. ''What kind of evidence do you have that tell you I did it?'', I asked. The police detective showed me a video of me putting the warning note on the shelf in the hospital. ''That's no proof! I'm innocent'', I cried. ''What's your defense?'', the man asked. ''That I'm kidnapped! I was forced to do it, I had no choice'', I told him.

''You're kidnapped? Yeah, of course'', the cop said ironic. I didn't know what to do. The cop didn't believe me, and I didn't know how to prove it. ''I swear!'', I yelled. He then asked me what kind of evidence I had. I explained that I had no evidence because my kidnappers was the most manipulative bitches in the world. ''I need a lawyer!'', I demanded. ''Of course. You have the full right to be proven innocent if that's the case. We'll get you a lwyer, but in the mean time we're gonna have to talk with the people you call kidnappers'', the police told me. ''They're gonna kill me'', I said.

Joanna's POV
Kristina was taken to custody for the next week. The police immediately recognized us when we were taken to the interrogation room for information. ''Alex and Joanna Murphy! It's been a long time, how have you been?'', the detective asked. ''We've been doing great! Except that we once again are being blamed for abducting and murder'', Alex explained. ''I understand, it must be so hard. I know you both are innocent, it was proven in the court room a year ago or something'', detective Floyd thought. But unfortunately, we still weren't allowed to leave, before it was proven once again. The police even wanted Dory in the interrogation room, since she was a victim of the kidnapping. We managed to convince her to only tell lies to the police. ''No, we're not kidnapped. Joanna is my mother, Alex is my step dad. It's all completely normal'', she told them. After no evidence in the trial that Alex and I were a part of it, Kristina was sentenced to youth prison until she turned 18, and then after that she was sentenced to a life time in a real one. Luckily, no one was pronounced dead, but still some people got badly harmed. Dory thought it wasn't fair at all, that all that happened to Kristina, and she snapped when we got home. ''This his isn't right! You guys are just as guilty as her! How can you be so god damn selfish? You're only thinking about yourselves, others don't mean anything to you!'', she yelled. ''That isn't true and you know it'', Alex said. ''Isn't it? I think Kris was right this whole time. You guys don't care about me, you're just using me to get away from your own cruel actions. I mean you were even gonna kill me to prove she is guilty'', Dory said and slammed the door into her and Kristina's room. I went to talk to her in a calm and grown up way, but she had locked it. And she didn't open it that night either.
