You smiled into the kiss, relaxing in his arms and hooking yours around his neck. He chuckled happily, hugging you even tighter against him and standing up, clumsily leading you to the couch.

"Hey!" You said in between kisses, giggling confusedly at his sudden change in attitude.

The two of you fell on the couch, his smile wide and contagious as you rested above him, lips now apart from each other and eyes gazing into the other. He was so freaking handsome you felt like you were about to melt into him.

"I-" He started, hand reaching your cheek softly. "I wanted to-"

A bark interrupted his words, followed by Law rushing between the two and stomping his little paws on Rosinante's chest, right below your semi-hovering body. Rosinante stared dumbfounded at the dog, surprised that he had already warmed up enough to you that he was able of squishing himself between two humans just to get your attention. Back at the rescue he didn't seem very fond of being close to any other living creature.

"Wha-" You said confusedly, words interrupted as the dog slammed a paw into your lips.

Did he just slap me?

Your eyes widened in surprise, looking down at Rosinante for any confirmation about what had just happened.

"Am I crazy or did Law just slap me?" You said, still in shock and firm in place.

Rosinante wasn't any better, the man frozen and suddenly very aware of what he had and was about to do to you. With you.

"Uh-"

Law barked again.

"Law! What is it?" You asked, cheeks flushed as you saw Rosinante's embarrassed face.

Beginning to crawl down from the blonde, you picked up the dog in your arms to which he responded with a low grunt, paws settling on your breasts and head comfortably taking advantage of the soft area.

It seemed like the dog wanted to cuddle.

"Is this actually happening?" You asked to Rosinante jokingly. "Not even an hour ago he hated me."

Rosinante was baffled. Did a dog really just steal his date? Yep. He had been beaten by a small and fluffy animal in the game of getting your attention.

"I don't think it's you he likes." He said, eyes gesturing at the dog who was basically sprawled all over your breasts.

OH.

Chuckling nervously, you peeled the puppy off you, his sleeping self replacing your warm breasts with his blanket as you put him down on his new bed.

You smiled warmly, adoring how easily the little bugger had managed to fall asleep.

"Well I'll win his heart someday."

"Oh, don't feel discouraged. He does seem more comfortable around you. Considering everything he's been through with humans, that's amazing. It's quite an accomplishment." He beamed, sitting upright on the couch.

"Thanks." You mumbled, blushing once again as you stared at the couch and remembered what you had been about to do with Rosinante.
