"Do what?" You laugh nervously, finally sensing the tension in the room.

But you still hadn't put things together.

So, you assumed he was stressed about work. Trying to help him relax, your hand searched his only for him to stare at you in shock and anger, his eyes finally hinting you at what was going on. Of course! The position he had found you in was quite compromising. He thought you were going to fuck Zoro.

"OH!" You said in realization. "Rosi, it's not like that. I swear! He just-"

Your voice was cut off under the pressure of his stare, body trembling nervously and a knot forming in your throat.

Does he not trust me?

Law stared at the scene unfold in front of him with caution, the dog plopping off his bed and following close beside you. He could feel the tension in the air and how anxious you were feeling, the puppy obviously not liking the fact that his human was feeling this way. He rubbed his head against your leg, but you didn't even notice, your mind clouded and twisted as it goes a thousand miles per hour.

Rosinante didn't say anything, breathing ragged and forced as he stared at you, just trying to figure things out. What else could you have been doing if not flirting with your friend? That's what it looked like to him. Zoro had been kissing your cheeks while you massaged his green hair, if that wasn't intimate then what was? The picture was much too clear, and as much as he tried to think of something else that you could've been doing he just kept finding reasons of why you would cheat on him.

It was obvious. He didn't have enough time for you. He saw it this morning. It bothered you. Now, he could see the cycle repeat itself. The same that he had gone through in his past relationships.

Rosinante had become paranoid, while you still couldn't get words out of your mouth.

"Rosinante, come on-"

"Have you been fucking Zoro?" He asked, both pain and anger lacing his voice.

Law barked at him, his body adopting a defensive stance.

You ignored the dog, already knowing about how he had gotten to that conclusion, but the assumption hurt you. Just this morning the two of you had been so intimate and loving. You confessed to him that you loved him and he told you he reciprocated those feelings!

"Rosinante!" You say in shock. "Of course not! Are you crazy?!" You screech, a slight tinge of anger and sadness bubbling up in your chest.

This doesn't feel like it will end well.

He didn't answer, chest heave as he just stared at you with cold, confused and hurt eyes.

"Rosinante, he came over because he needed my help. His girlfriend dumped him horribly and he needed support. Of course I wasn't cheating on you!" You say, trying to grab his hand again but he pulls away. For the third time. This hurts you once more. "You know how important he is for me, but that doesn't mean I'd ever jeopardize our relationship for him." You say, voice cracked and chest heavy.

You were upset, scared that he was going to break up with you over such a small fight. This was the first real time you had a disagreement like this and you felt like you were going to pass out. He came early today! You just wanted him to hug you. You wanted to eat together and be the same as ever. Not to fight.

Law stared at you scared, a small whine leaving his throat. He doesn't like the bad energy being put in the room, and he can sense the anguish forming inside both you and Rosinante.

Rosinante's eyes softened, his feelings being replaced by guilt. He shouldn't have reacted this way, it was hurting both him and you.
