"So what are we going to do?" Rosinante asked you.

You both laid curled up on the couch, Rosinante hugging you tightly and caressing your body with soft circular motions. He finally told you that he was in no way against the idea of having a child with you, on the contrary, talking about having kids was a conversation he wanted to have with you before you decided to get married. It had come much earlier than expected, but it was fine. Great, actually. You were graduated from your University, meaning that you were ready to get a job and became absolutely independent, and Rosinante was already a well formed officer with a nice paying and stable job.

You were young, yes, but everything was going to work out.

"Well, we need to get a couple of those pharmacy pregnancy tests." You said softly, your body about to fall asleep in the warmth and comfort of the person you loved the most. "If it throws a positive result, then I'll start looking for a good doctor to check on us." You finished, nuzzling further into his neck.

So warm. And he smells like paradise.

"Of course. Right."

He hadn't thought about it, but there still was a chance that you weren't pregnant. Stupidly enough, he had already convinced himself that you were bearing his child and the idea of you not actually being pregnant made him feel sick. He had become far too excited with this and, irresponsibly, hadn't tried to keep a calm head.

"We can do that tomorrow." You said.

You couldn't, though. Your anxiety was through the roof, your heart beating nervously at the idea of not knowing if you were pregnant or not for another whole night. You just said this to not rush Rosinante into accompanying you to the drugstore, knowing that he was already exhausted after the events you had gone to tonight.

"Wait, is this why you were stealing every single drink from me?" You asked as you remembered how those events had gone down.

It had definitely caught your attention how sharply Rosinante kept an eye on you, not letting you ingest even a single milliliter of any alcoholic drink. He was a cop and all, but you knew that in a normal context he would've let you enjoy at least a single glass of wine or champagne.

He chuckled, nodding guiltily as he smiled at you.

"I realized this morning and kept on catching on to the signs you were giving. Of course I didn't want to drop the bomb during your graduation, but there was still the fact that you could've been pregnant and I didn't want to risk it."

AWW OH MY GOD.

Your heart was squeezed inside your chest, body acting on command to your feelings as you lifted yourself up a little bit to reach his sweet lips. He was the best boyfriend ever and you were feeling as if you were going to pass out from how amazing this man was to you.

"I love you I love you I love you-" You teased, massaging his scalp as you stole kisses from him.

He then proceeded to turn your body around, your back now against the couch as he deepened his kisses. He placed his knee in between your legs, your body involuntarily rubbing against him in search of his soothing touch. His hands groped your breasts, sliding down your body only for them to now grope your ass.

You squealed, a small chuckle interrupting your kisses as you looked away with embarrassment.

He kept on touching you, his hands sliding through your body until they reached your stomach, lingering on top of what he now thought of as a delicate area. Suddenly, he simply stopped moving, letting his hand caress your tummy over the fabric of your dress and putting a stop to what you had hoped was the beginning of sexy time. His eyes stared at the area with an aloof gaze, his body remaining still for a whole minute as you stared at him in confusion.
