Cassie's POV

"Christian cussed at dad?" Ryan asked as soon as I answered the phone.

"Ry, you don't know the full story so don't take it out on Christian. Dad was acting crazy. I think he might've been drinking so that doesn't help." I watched him come downstairs and I hung up because I didn't want him to know I was talking about it.

"I'm sorry for everything that happened. Please understand that I don't want contact with them for a while. He really thinks he can threaten me about seeing my family. I know you're mad at me but I hope you're equally as mad at him."

"I am. Actually I am more mad at him." That's all I could say right now. I literally thought my dad was going to strangle him. He watched me walk upstairs. Mason and Noah were hiding around the corner in the hallway.

"Are grandpa, and dad alright?" Mason asked.

"I'm hoping they will be," I said and grabbed their hands and walked with them into our room. I went into the closet, and the kids sat on the chairs I had in there. "Mason, buddy, you have got to stop saying that stuff. I know it might seem funny to you but do you know what just happened?" He nodded as I threw my bra in the hamper.

I finished getting changed and took the boys to their rooms. I went back downstairs and made a bottle for Brielle and fed her. Christian looked at me from across the living room. "You're mad," He said and I pulled the bottle out of Brielle's mouth and she started crying.

"Yes I wasn't going to stop being mad in the course of two damn minutes Christian." I put the bottle back in her mouth and she stopped. He put his Beats on and I could hear his blasting music. When she finished eating, I gave her to Christian so he could burp her.

I waited for him to finish and we went upstairs together. Since Brielle slept for so long, she didn't want to go to sleep, so Christian had to entertain her while we laid in bed. "So that's really how you felt?" I asked him and he stopped smiling at Bri.

"Yes, I know I don't have as much experience when it comes to parenting but I sure as hell don't need any advice on how to raise my kids. I'll raise them how I want." I nodded and then scooted closer to him. As much as I hated choosing a side, I definitely have to agree with Christian.

My Dad had no right to tell Christian anything. "I love you, I'm going to sleep. Take Brielle to the crib in a little bit."

"Alright, I love you too," He told me and kissed my lips. I put the blanket over me and fell asleep.

Christian's POV

"Good morning Mrs. Yelich," I said when she walked downstairs. I had a bowl of fruit and a protein shake ready. I kissed her face and she smiled at me. We sat down at the table with the kids and started eating.

"Mom where you go today?" Noah asked Cassie.

"Nowhere, I think. I'm inviting Cody over to hang out for a little bit. That's all." The kids got excited when they heard that. "Text Cody, I didn't bring my phone down."

I nodded and did it. "He'll be over in a few hours." I looked at Cassie and she was staring at me.

"Your neck. He scratched you," She said and then took a picture of it and showed me. "I'm sorry for the way he acted." I just nodded. It wasn't her fault but she would continue to take the blame over and over.

We finished eating, and got the kids dressed and decided to go on a walk. My mom called while we were on our walk and I put it on speaker. "Are you okay?" She asked as soon as I answered.

"Yes I'm still upset though. I'm not doing Christmas with them. And they aren't seeing my kids until I get some type of apology." Cas looked at me and I kept pushing the stroller.
