Christian's POV

Although we had a blast the past couple days, I was happy to be home with our kids and Cassie was happy to be back for her dad. "What's wrong with mommy?" One of the kids asked me as Cas started crying. She wiped her eyes and I went over and start rubbing her back. We sat in silence for a few seconds and she finally decided to speak up.

"Babe, I need your help for real. If something does happen, I might try to go back to my ways." She still drank here and there, but it was never as bad as when we first had met.

"Well I am glad you let me know, because it takes a lot of courage to speak up about this. So I will be here by your side no matter what. You know that no one wants to see you like that, and now the kids. I don't want you going back to that." She opened her arms and I gave her a hug.

"I love you." I continued to rub her back for a couple minutes. "Do you mind if I go see him? I just need to."

"Go ahead." We kissed for a couple of seconds and then she said bye to the kids and grabbed her stuff and left. "Grandpa isn't doing well, so she's sad." I told Mason as he was still standing here waiting for an answer.

Cassie's POV

As I got to the hospital, Ryan and Steve were there. The two of them already knew I was emotional so they both gave me a hug. "Hey you're going to be fine," Steve said and the tears kept rolling down my face.

"Cassie," Ryan said and I couldn't show my face. He pulled me into a hug and I couldn't stop crying. He rubbed my back and I just stood there feeling so numb.

"I don't want to lose him," I whispered and I could hear him sigh. "Ry, I'm not ready."

"I know Cas but we're just gonna have to wait and see. Let's head up to his room." I walked with my brothers and when we got there, he was awake and talking with my mom.

"Hey baby girl," He said excitedly and I gave him a hug and then he kissed my forehead. "Did you guys just get back?"

"Yes, we went and picked up the kids and then I came over here to see you." He held my hand. "So what's going on?"

"Doctor wants to watch him for the next couple of days. And if tests come back with good results, he can go home."

"Dad you have to start eating better and go for some walks with us. I can not lose you just yet." He nodded. I stayed at the hospital for a few hours with the guys but we were all getting pretty tired, so we decided to go home. As I walked into the house, I saw the blinds open and the kids and Christian were jumping into
the pool.

I went out and smiled at them. "Mommy!" Brielle yelled and she got out and hugged me.

"Hi baby," I said and picked her up. "What have you done today?"

"Dad made dinner and then we swim." All of them got out of the pool and I smiled. Christian gave me a kiss and I smiled after. I set Bri down, then gave the boys a kiss and a hug.

"Uncle Baker wants to see you guys soon so we might take a trip back to Ohio. Do you want to do that?" I asked and they nodded and got very excited. "We will call him and see when."

They both went back to the pool and Christian looked at me. "Sooo how'd it go babe?"

"Good, I think he's going to be alright. I just need something to eat. What did you make?"

"Brisket, and potatoes." I raised my eyebrows.

"Yummy, let me change into something comfortable and I'm going to make a plate for myself." He nodded and I went inside. I decided to take a quick body shower and got dressed in a Brewers shirt and some shorts. As I walked downstairs, Christian was getting a plate ready. "Babe."
