Christian's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night, and I could see a figure on the side of the bed. I turned on the light and I saw Cassie trying to get the boys out of bed. "Hey, what are you doing back already?"

She nodded over to the closets and I followed her. "We got in an argument about the whole situation. They said some stuff about how I make everything about me, and I think we are through for real. I told them not to call us, not to come see us. I'm done with this babe." She started crying and hugged me.

"I know this must be really hard. But I promise you everything will work itself out. Whatever is meant to be, will be. If they choose to stop seeing our family, then that's on them. We have my side of the family. I don't want you to stress about this Cassie. I love you so much."

"I love you too. Thank you for calming me down." I nodded and then picked her up.

"I'll take the couch in here, and you can have my spot." She shook her head no and got out of my arms when I approached the bed. She moved the twins over and laid in bed. She held my hand and then closed her eyes.

Cassie's POV

I waited for Christian to get up. He was still sleeping peacefully, even though the twins woke up and were being kind of loud. I rubbed his face and he started smiling a little. He touched my hand and then opened his eyes. "The twins aren't in bed anymore and you aren't cuddled up to me?"

"I'm sorry," I said and got closer to him. "You look so hot right now." I looked at his scruff on his face and went to kiss him.

"Calm those hormones down," He said and then he kissed my lips for a couple seconds. "Let me see that belly," He said and I chuckled and kept the blanket over me. "Please," He whined. I shook my head no and then he started tickling me.

"Fine. It's all yours Christian." He stopped tickling me and I hesitated to give up the covers. Christian gave me that look again and I let go. When he looked at my stomach, he got so excited. I wasn't even close to showing yet, but Christian didn't even care.

"I'm so happy," Christian said and kissed my stomach. "I don't even care what I get."

"Cam is going to be sad when he gets kicked to the guest house." The both of us shrugged. There was a knock on the door and the twins got off of the couch to go open it and Christian left my stomach alone.

"Since Cas isn't here," Cam said when they opened the door. When he saw me, he was confused. "Did you guys lie?"

"No it's a long story for another time when I'm drunk." He nodded. "So since I'm not here, what?"

"Never mind." I patted the bed and he came and laid on the edge. "Do you want to go out tonight?"

"I'm not going out because I'm going to my husband's game. My kids wouldn't have anyone to watch them, and we are going to Miami in a couple days. If you guys want to go with the kids and I, then you need to let us know right now so we can buy your tickets."

"We will pass this time," I nodded and then looked at Christian. Well this is the first time in a while that it's just going to be us. "We're going out to breakfast, if you guys wanna come." Christian and I shook our heads no. This gives us two, the chance to spend time with just our kids. "I'll see y'all in a little bit then."

He left the room and then the twins looked at us. "We go out daddy!" He shook his head no and then he grabbed my face and my cheeks were all squished.

"Mimosas?" I asked and he got mad at me. "I know I know. It's just a joke." I moved his hand and then we got out of bed. I looked at Christian and he had a boner. "The things that I can do to you."

He laughed and then went to the bathroom. I took the kids with me downstairs and they sat at the table. "Bri come to mommy," I said as she played with her toys in the living room. I looked back and she was walking to me. "Ask daddy for a dog when he comes down."

When I could hear Christian, I smiled to myself. "Dad," I heard her say and I looked back. He picked her up. "We get dog?"

"No, final decision. For everyone." I got a little grumpy with him saying that. "Are you alright?" Christian asked when he came in the kitchen. I looked at Brielle who was standing next to Christian now.

"I want a dog so bad Christian. You've known this since we've been together. Please baby." He looked at me and then thought about it. He shook his head no again and I got upset with him. "Christian please."

"Cas it's a no. We've got three kids we have to take care of, and another one on the way. When they are older maybe." I ignored him and started making the boys some waffles and pancakes. When I was done, I made Brielle a bottle and she wanted me to hold her.

I picked her up and she held her bottle. I made something quickly for Christian and I, then sat at the table with the boys. "Dad you leave tonight?" Mason asked and Christian nodded. "We go too?"

"Tomorrow baby," I told him and he got excited. Christian looked at me from across the table. "And when we get back, dad is going to be out still so we might head home to California for a couple days so you can go see grandma and grandpa."

"And Cooper and Milo?" Noah asked and I nodded.

"If they're not busy. I'll call grandma in a little bit." Christian furrowed his brows but didn't say anything. "What's up with you?"

"It's a random trip."

"Okay, do you not want me to take our kids? I don't want to be in this house all the time. Do you want me to travel the entire week with you? You need to let me know, so I can plan whatever it is that you want."

"Okay, stay the entire week. Plus we're in Miami, I don't want to be alone." I got confused and then he didn't say anything. It took me a while to get what he meant by that.

I set Brielle down and went over to Christian's chair. "Hey it's alright to be sad about it. I'll be there with you." He started crying and he pulled me close. "CY," I said and tried to move his head so I could see his face, but he wouldn't let me. "Christian please."

He finally let me see his face. "Let it all out babe. If you need to cry for an hour, I'll lay in bed with you and be there as a shoulder to lean on." He nodded and then I wiped his eyes. "Go tell daddy you love him," I told the kids and Brielle got there first. He picked all of them up, one by one and they all gave him a kiss. I rubbed his back after so he would calm down and finish his breakfast.

When he finished, he started cleaning up. I liked when Christian showed his emotions to me. "CY, I got your bag ready. So whenever you're ready to head out, it's by the garage door." He nodded and then after he came up to me. I was looking at bills and Christian tried getting my attention by wrapping his arm around me. "Cassie." I looked at him and he kissed me. "Thank you for that. I work myself up every time I think about it."

"I understand. I'm always here if you want to talk about it. Or need anything else," I winked and he just laughed. "Go before you're late. The kids and I will be there in a few hours." He nodded and kissed me one more time.
