Cassie's POV
"Christian," I said as he laid on top of my hair as I tried sleeping still. I opened my eyes and it wasn't him. "Where's your dad?" I asked Mason as he moved off my hair.
"He clean your car." I smiled a little bit because it probably was a mess after last night. "We have pancakes."
"Were they good?" He nodded and I gave him my phone so I could go back to sleep. When he left the room, I got back under the blankets and fell back asleep.
Christian's POV
When I got home, I went upstairs and saw Cassie still sleeping. "Babe, you want to wake up? It's raining and we could drink our coffee together." I set our cups down and she groaned. I rubbed her side and she opened her eyes. "Is that a yes?"
"Only because you brought Starbucks." I let her sit up and she put her hair in a bun. "So you cleaned the Tahoe?" I nodded and she laughed.
"I'm not going to have my kids sit in there after last night." She nodded and reached for her coffee so I gave it to her. I got up and went downstairs and grabbed some of the leftover banana bread Cassie made for us the other day. I warmed it up and took it up to our room. She got our coffee and took it out to the balcony and we sat there on the couches. "You were really tired huh."
"Yes, I've been super tired lately. It must be something in the air." I fed her a piece of the bread and she scooted closer to me. "Oh how I love mornings like these."
"I can't wait until every morning could look like this." She smiled because I never talked about life after baseball. And I think that made her really happy. "We could get our balcony redone back home."
"Or just move back to Malibu." I missed Malibu so much but it wasn't a forever home for us. Once we started to create a family, my opinion changed so much about living on the beach. "Wherever you want to go, I'll go babe. But I truly do think that Westlake has my heart now."
"I love you," I said and leaned over and kissed her. "But you need to wash your hair." I took a pic and showed her and she started to laugh.
"That's all you Christian. Couldn't contain yourself."
"Well you were doing everything really good last night." She smiled and took my coffee out of my hand and took a sip and gave it back.
"I think for dinner, I'm going to make some tacos and burritos. With some rice and beans. Is that fine with you?" I nodded and got up and went back in the room for a few seconds to make sure the baby was fine. It started getting really windy so Cas ran inside and shut the door.
"I'm going to shower and get ready. If you happen to leave early, I love you. Thank you for breakfast."
"I love you too." I gave her a kiss and left the room. The guys had just ran into the house.
"Fuck!" Cam yelled and they were already soaked.
"You guys are more than welcome to stay in here, down in the man cave. As long as you don't trash it."
"We don't want to hear anything though, please." I nodded and grabbed a water out of the fridge. "Did you eat already?"
"Yeah Cas and I had the banana bread and coffee." He groaned. "You guys wanted it huh?" They nodded. "She's going to be out in a few, so I'm sure she won't mind making it. Plus with this weather for the next week, I think she will be doing a ton of baking."
Everyone loved when the weather changed drastically, because then Cas bakes her heart out.
