Just Apologize

Christian's POV

"Damn, Cassie can cook," Aaron said and I laughed a little. "I heard some of the other guys say it before, but like I didn't believe this good."

"Yeah she's one hell of a cook and baker." We continued watching the game and drank some beer.

"Babe, do you mind if I come down?" Cassie asked yelling from the top of the stairs.

"Come on down." She had a cake and set it down. She went back upstairs, and came down with a couple of other trays of desserts. "Thank you," I said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You're welcome. Please eat up everyone because I don't want the kids seeing this." They all laughed and thanked her as I walked her up the stairs. "I mean it, they better eat and take whatever they want home."

"I don't think that'll be a problem to any of them." She laughed and gave me a kiss before closing the door.

"She has to go boxes for whatever you want to take home. Trust me it's worth it. You'll regret it if you don't take something home." Rowdy got up and took a brownie.

He raised his eyebrows. "Damn. She's really good. She needs to do catering or something." I agreed but Cassie probably wouldn't want to do that now. We talked a little while the game was going on.

"Dad," One of the boys said and we all looked up and the twins were coming down the stairs. "Hi," Mason said to everyone and waved. They all waved back and smiled.

"What's up boys?" I gave them both a cookie from the tray and they started eating it.

"We stay with you? Mom is hanging out with Uncle Cam outside and it's cold." I nodded and they sat on the couch and watched the game with us.

Cassie's POV

I walked inside the house to grab a beer for Ricky and Cam and I saw all the guys upstairs. I laughed a little because they were all grabbing boxes for the food. "Thank you Cassie, the food was really great," Aaron said and came and hugged me.

"Of course. I always tell Christian that I don't mind hosting things like this. So we will do this again soon." They nodded. Everyone continued to thank me and I kept nodding. All these guys were super nice and I'm glad they enjoyed their time together. I went back outside and gave them their beer and sat down in my seat. I put the blanket on me and I looked at the fire. We sat their in silence for a few minutes, before Christian came out. He sat in the seat next to me and put his beer in front of me. I took a sip and gave it back.

"Thank you," He said and leaned over and kissed my head. I nodded. "How was your guys dinner?"

"It was so good. You really missed out tonight." The guys nodded and got up. "Where are y'all going?"

"Just think we're gonna call it a night," Cam said and I was confused. They didn't want Christian there and I could tell. I nodded because I wanted time with my husband. When the door shut, I turned and looked at him.

"You guys good?" He shrugged.

"He's mad because I asked them for it to be just me and the guys tonight. And the next time, it will be all
of us."

"Christian you should've included them." For once I kinda was on Cam's side. "When you do stuff with the guys, you take Collin. So what's the difference?" He didn't answer me. "There isn't a difference babe. Try to include him in stuff, he's a big part of our life now and he's the reason we're able to have things go so smoothly during the season. He's your little brother, I get it. But you guys are older now, so you don't have to exclude him."

He sat there in silence, and I got up and walked to the door. "When you apologize, come up to the room." I closed the door behind me and went up to our room, and I showered. I got dressed and combed my hair before realizing Christian still wasn't in the room. I looked out of the window and found him sitting in the same spot.

I rolled my eyes and got in bed and waited for Christian. I was exhausted to say the least and waiting for him was only making me more mad at him. About an hour later, he came up and I looked at him but he ignored me and just walked to the shower.

I guess I was in the middle of the bed because Christian scooted me over when he was getting into bed. I turned over before he was about to get in and he got scared. "I thought you would've been asleep by now."

"I was waiting for you to apologize to your brother, and come up here so I could spend time with you."

"Well I'm here now, so let's cuddle." He laid in bed and tried to pull me close but I stopped him. "Cassie."

"Did you apologize?" He shook his head and I raised my eyebrows. "Whatever I'm not going to do this with you." He made a face at me and then I turned over. He still put his arm around me and I took it off. Christian didn't care because he put it right back over me. I went to move it but I heard him sigh and make his grip tighter.

He leaned in and tried to kiss my neck but I shrugged my shoulders so he couldn't reach me. "What's your problem?"

"I already told you. Just apologize in the damn morning please. You know how you two get when you don't apologize to one another."

"Fine," He said and waited for me to put my shoulder down. When I did, he kissed my neck. I just wanted to go to sleep but of course he was all touchy. His arm let go of me and I felt him slip his hand into my shorts and I quickly stopped him. "You're not into it?"

"No CY, I am trying to sleep."

He moved his hand and then put it back around me. I fell asleep a few minutes after Christian stopped moving around.

When I woke up the next morning, Christian was still asleep and I was glad, so I could have some time to myself. I was going to go on a walk by myself so I got dressed in some leggings and a sports bra. He moved around as I passed the bed and I hurried out of the room. I grabbed my keys and left. I walked our normal route, one way, before Christian called me. "Why'd you go on a walk without me?" He said and groaned after.

"Because I want alone time." He laughed a little. "Im being serious. I'll be home in a little bit, I love you." I hung up the phone and started walking back. I was getting creeped out walking by myself all of a sudden. Maybe I should've kept Christian on the phone, or maybe even asked him to come with. I called him back. "Stay on the phone with me please."

"What do I get out of it?" I laughed a little. "I'm being serious."

"You'll see when I get home." We talked until I walked up to the driveway and he was standing there waiting for me. I put my phone in my jacket pocket and he picked me up and I wrapped my arms and legs around him. I kissed him and he kissed back. "I heard you apologized already?"

"Yes, anything that you ask me to do, I will do. Plus I shouldn't have kept them away like I did. He's just my little brother you know?" I nodded.

"Include him and Ricky more." He nodded and gave me another kiss before throwing me over his shoulder and walking back into the house. I had a great view of his ass and I wouldn't grab it this time because last time he almost dropped me on my head. When we walked in, I could see the guys and the kids on the couch. "Good morning," I said trying to wave but I was so dizzy. He helped me up and then I looked at the counter and there was breakfast already made.

"Happy mother's day!" The kids yelled and hugged me. I totally forgot it was today. I got excited though. I looked behind me and Christian was smiling at me. I  hugged him again and he squeezed my butt gently.

"Thank you," I whispered and he nodded and let me go. I went to the counter and there were my favorite muffins from a bakery about twenty minutes away. And the guys made a bunch of food as well.

I made my plate and waited for everyone to come to the table outside. I watched Christian pull out a box at the table and open it. A pair of Mother's Day gloves but these were different than usual. My actual signature was on there. And what we had said when we found out we were pregnant with not only one baby, but two, was on there. "Do you like them?" He asked me as I examined every detail.

"I love them so much. Please can I have them after the game?" He nodded and I kept looking at them. He always went over the top on his gloves for Mother's Day, but these had to be my favorite.

I gave them back so I could have breakfast. When we all finished eating, I tried cleaning up but everyone stopped me. "Take a shower, we got this." I nodded and got a kiss from him before I went upstairs.
