Chapter 94

A/N: Extra long chapter! Also: Wedding chapter!
Just a quick note, I've only been to one wedding in my life and this is how it went. I don't know if all ceremonies go like this, but this is my experience. Enjoy!

A knock is heard on the door of the room where Joe is getting ready for the wedding.
'I'll get it.' Gwil says, hurrying towards the door.
Joe giggles. 'Thanks.'
Gwil opens the door, but only on a crack so he can see who's there. He smiles when he sees Roger. 'It's Rog, can I let him in?'
Joe nods with a smile.
'Hi boys. Just checking in how everything is going? How are the nerves?' Roger asks with a smile.
Joe lets out a shaky breath. 'Well, they're definitely here. But despite the nerves everything is going well, I hope.'
Roger nods. 'Don't worry about that. Everything looks perfect.'
'Isn't Brian here yet?' Gwil asks.
Roger smiles. 'He is. He's with Ben and Rami.'
Gwil nods with a smile.
'Oh, by the way, I had to give this to you Joe. From your groom.' With a smirk on his face, the drummer hands Joe a corsage of a red rose.
A huge smile appears on Joe's face. 'That's so sweet.' He mumbles, looking at the flower in awe.
With a smile, Gwil watches how Joe's nerves disappear a little after this small gift from Ben. 
Then the door opens. Lucy's head appears around the corner. 'Joe, are you ready?' She asks with a big smile.
Joe takes a deep breath and nods. 'More ready than I ever will be.' He walks through the door of the room to meet his father standing there.
'Can I give you away?' Joseph asks, holding out his hand for Joe to take.
Joe nods with a smile, and takes his father's hand. 'Just this once then.'

Together, the two walk down the aisle, listening to the music that is played.
Joe's breath briefly hitches in his throat when he sees Ben standing at the altar. He knows Ben always looks amazing in a suit, but in this one he just looks breath taking. The ginger smiles when he can see the tears sparkle in Ben's eyes already.
Once arrived at the altar, Joseph hands Joe over to Ben by locking their hands together. He shoots Ben a wink before walking away and sitting down next to his wife.
'You look.... so beautiful.' Joe whispers, admiring Ben from head to toe. He smiles even more when the blond boy starts to blush a little.
'So do you.' Ben whispers back as he intertwines their fingers.
Then the officiant starts to speak, starting the wedding ceremony. 'Dearly beloveds. We are gathered here today to join these two men in the union of marriage. Two people who met because of a movie, and were brought together by love, music, and destiny. Our grooms have each prepared vows that they will read now to each other.'
When the officiant says this, the two boys begin to realize it. Today they will actually get married.
With a big smile, Ben frees his hand out of Joe's so he can grab a piece of paper from his pocket. His stomach flips when he sees the twinkles in Joe's hazel eyes.
He takes a deep breath, before starting to read. 'Joe, even in a thousand words I can't express how much you mean to me. You're always there for me when I need you. You are my Blanket when I'm cold. My Captain America when I'm in danger. My rose when I need thorns to protect me. You're a very special person. The first day I met you, I was actually kinda scared of you, to be honest. Because every time I saw you, I got this weird feeling inside. A feeling I've never had before. First, I thought it was just the happiness I felt. Happiness about the friendship we had. But after a while, I found out it was more than just friendship I felt for you. It was love. And it still is. My life has never been more perfect since the day I met you. Which is why I never wanna lose you. You're the love of my life, you're my best friend, and my somebody to love. I was born to love you. I can't wait for our future, our adventure, to start. I love you.'
Joe bites his lip, trying to keep the tears away. But no matter how hard he tries, a single tear manages to slip through at these sweet words. 'I love you too.' He says softly.
After wiping away his tears, he too grabs the piece of paper on which he scribbled down his vows. 'Well, here we are Benny. We have known each other for less than two years. We moved fast in this relationship, but for me it couldn't go fast enough. Ever since I met you, I'm sure of everything for the first time in my life. Our lives have been crazy since the moment we met each other. You could even say that we have been living a soap. With every crazy twist our lives took, we got stronger. It didn't matter what happened, if only we had each other. Then we knew we would come through it. Most soaps end with a wedding, and then everyone gets their happily ever after. But our story won't end with this wedding. It's only the beginning of our journey together.' And although I hope the crazy twists will stay away, I can't wait to start a new adventure with you by my side. I love you.'
Tears are now flowing down Ben's cheeks.
With a smile, Joe wipes them away with his thumb.
Ben chuckles softly, and takes Joe's hand again.
