Chapter 89

When Joe wakes up the next morning, he feels someone shifting next to him. He groans and pulls the blanket up to his chin.
'Wake up my love.' Ben whispers.
Joe feels Ben running his hand to his hair. The ginger opens his eyes, and shakes his head. 'I don't wanna get up.' He mumbles. After that he closes his eyes again.
Ben giggles softly, and presses a kiss on Joe's cheek. 'I'll make us some hangover proof breakfast. That way you can stay in bed and wake up a little.' He says before getting out of bed.
Joe nods happily. 'You're too sweet.' He mutters with a sleepy smile.
Ben chuckles and walks to the kitchen.

After just relaxing a bit in bed, Joe grabs his phone to see what time it is. But his attention goes to a message Rami has sent him.
A big smile appears on his face. 'Ben, you have to read this!' He gets up from the bed and walks out of their bedroom.
Halfway through the hall he meets Ben. 'What do I have to read?' The blond asks confused.
With a big grin Joe hands him his phone so he can read Rami's message himself.

(Today, 02:21 Am) Rami: Oh my god Joe. I know you're probably asleep already but I'm just too excited. You're not gonna believe this but Lucy and I kissed. And after that we talked. About everything. She is spending the night and we're gonna take things slow in our relationship. God I'm so incredibly happy!

'Wow, that was sooner than I expected.' Ben says after reading the text.
Joe giggles softly and nods. 'Exactly. I really thought Rami wouldn't be brave enough.' He says with a grin.
Ben smiles, and without saying something he pulls Joe along with him into the kitchen.
Joe's jaw drops when he sees the kitchen.
Ben has set the breakfast table in a very romantic way.
'Tea or coffee?' Ben asks to get Joe out of his trance.
'Uhm, coffee please.' Joe says with a smile. He sits down while looking in awe at the table.
'How did you even do this in such a short time?' He asks surprised.
'Well, I had everything I needed. I actually planned to give you a romantic breakfast a few days ago, but then you had a fever. And the days after we both had to work in the morning. So this morning I saw my chance.' Ben explains with a grin. He walks over to the table, and hands Joe his cup of coffee.
'What happend to your hand?' Joe asks when he sees that Ben's left hand is bandaged.
Ben looks at his hand, and shrugs with a smile. 'Oh nothing. I just accidentally cut myself while preparing breakfast. But don't worry, it isn't that serious. I couldn't find the plasters so I bandaged it.' Without waiting for Joe to answer, Ben walks back into the kitchen to get their plates.
With a big smile he hands Joe his plate when he returns.
'What are these?' Joe asks surprised.
Ben's eyes widen. 'No way. You never had a breakfast wrap before?'
Joe giggles and shakes his head. 'Uhm no, apparently not. What is it exactly?' He asks while looking at his plate with a smile.
'Well, it's like a normal wrap, but then with fruits and Nutella. It is the best thing to eat when you have a hangover, believe me.' Ben says with a wink.
Joe giggles and takes a bite from his wrap. 'Delicious.' He says with his mouth full.

'Benny?' Joe asks, after a while of just enjoying their breakfast and staring at each other.
Ben hums and looks up.
'Did you really mean what you said last night?' Joe asks softly. He can already feel his cheeks getting a light shade of pink.
'Well I was drunk last night and said a lot of stuff so you gotta be a little more specific.' Ben giggles.
Joe smiles and shyly looks at his plate. 'You said you hoped it won't be long anymore until you become my husband. You really meant that?'
The smile on Ben's face gets even bigger. He nods while taking Joe's hand. 'Yes, of course I meant that. I really can't wait to call you my husband.' He leans over the table to give his boyfriend a kiss.
'Maybe we should start planning then huh?' Joe says with a huge smile.
Ben nods happily and without saying anything more, he kisses Joe passionately.

And so, that afternoon the two spend cuddled up on the couch, talking about wedding stuff.
Ben has his head on Joe's chest, just enjoying the sound of Joe's heart pounding.
'So, inside or outside?' Joe asks while playing with Ben's blonde hair.
'Outside, I guess. But that depends on the season. I'm not getting married in the snow if you now what I mean.' Ben says with a serious face.
Joe giggles and nods in agreement. 'Yeah, I'm thinking exactly the same.' He closes his eyes with a smile. He inhales the scent of Ben's shampoo and smiles. The scent of roses.
'So, where would we do it? You have people living in New York, and I in London.' Ben says with a small frown.
Joe shrugs. 'I don't know. I don't think my parents would mind flying to London. But if we want Gwil and Lina there, it might be better to do it here in New York. I don't want to put them through to much trouble flying with the twins, you know?'
Ben smiles and nods. 'Yeah, you're right. Let's just have it in New York. The only one I need at my wedding it just my father anyway.'
A brief silence falls.
Ben takes a deep breath. 'Joey?'
The ginger lets out a questioning noise.
'I uhm- I know this isn't really about the wedding, but it kinda is about the future. I think it's something to talk about before we get married.' Ben says, staring at some random spot on the wall.
'What is it?' Joe asks curiously.
'H-have you ever thought about... about uhm- starting a family some day?' Ben asks softly.
Joe immediately smiles, feeling butterflies in his stomach at the thought of having a family with Ben. 'I have, actually. I think it would be amazing to have a little Benny running around here some day.' He whispers before crawling onto Ben's lap, pressing his lips against Ben's.
The blond boy joins the kiss without hesitating, putting his hands on Joe's hips. 'Really? Me myself was thinking a little Joey would be cute.' Ben whispers before diving back into the kiss again.
Joe deepens the kiss by slipping his tongue into Ben's mouth, humming into the kiss.

Their fiery kiss gets interrupted by a phone ringing.
Joe groans loudly. 'Ugh, why now?' He whines.
Ben giggles softly, placing one last kiss on Joe's lips before quickly answering his phone. 'Hello, Ben hardy.' He says. He smiles when he sees how Joe curiously tries to overhear what the person on the other side of the line is saying.
It stays silent a few seconds.
Joe can hear that the person is saying something, but can't hear what exactly.
'Yes that's right...... Wait really?' Ben says surprised.
Joe sees his eyes light up a little.
'Yes. Yes, I'll be there. Thank you, thank you so much!' And with these words Ben ends the call.
Joe gives him a questioning look.
'I passed my physical. I got the part in the X-men movie. They wanna meet tomorrow to talk about the shooting schedule.' Ben says with the disbelieve in his eyes.
Joe immediately jumps up from the couch and hugs him. 'But that's great news sweetheart! I knew you could do it.' He says during the hug.
Ben smiles, enjoying the hug.
'Let me get us some drinks to celebrate.' Joe says as he lets go of Ben. He wants to walk into the kitchen, but Ben stops him.
The blond grabs his wrist, pulling him into a passionate kiss. 'Allow me.' The younger boy says with a grin when they pull away.
Joe giggles and sits down on the couch again.
When Ben is in the kitchen, his phone receives a message. Joe wants to make sure that it isn't something important about his new job, so he checks who has send the message.
'Ben, can you come here for a moment?' He says hard enough for Ben to hear it.
With a smile Ben sticks his head around the corner. But that smile quickly changes into a frown when he sees Joe's serious face. 'W-what's wrong?' Ben asks when he sees how tense Joe looks at him.

Anyways, I got a lot of questions about the amount of chapters of this book. It will have 97 chapters, the wedding will be chapter 94. So we got a few chapters left before the end🙃
