Let Me In Your Heart Again | Hardzello♡

Chapter 1

'Cut! Nice work guys, this scene is done!' The director calls, content with this take. 'Take a break so we can go on to the next scene.'
Rami, Gwilym, Joe and Ben come off the stage exhausted. While chatting a bit, the four friends make their way towards their trailers. And even though the previous scene was a heavy one, Joe does look extremely tired for someone who has only been dancing for like 5 minutes.
'You okay buddy? Your head is as red as a tomato!' Ben says with a chuckle.
Joe nods, and forces a smile. 'Yeah I guess I danced a bit too much or something.' He says gasping. 
When they're almost at their trailers, Joe suddenly starts to breathe more and more heavily.
Both Rami and Gwil are starting to worry now, and exchange a look of concern.
'Joe this doesn't sound good, you should take a seat for a minute.' Gwil says when the ginger boy starts wheezing softly.
Joe shakes his head. 'No no I'm fine! I just need to have a drink and we can shoot the next scene.'
'Well okay then, let's go.' Rami says. The sooner they're at their trailers the better. At least Joe can sit down there.
Gwil gives the black-haired boy a bit of an indignant look. Rami can see for himself that Joe isn't doing that well, right?
Rami notices the angry look of his fellow actor, and reassures Gwil with a small nod.
Ben, who became very worried too in the meantime, also signals to Gwil that they should just keep walking to the trailers.
Once arrived there, Joe disappears into his trailer, his breathing still heavily sounding.
The three remained actors all exchange some looks before walking away to their own trailers.

After a few minutes of rest, Ben prepares himself for the next scene. He looks in the small mirror the trailer provides, brushes his wig a bit, and rehearses his lines for the upcoming scene.
He takes a deep breath, and is about to step outside.
But he pauses in front of the door of his trailer, and listens to the sounds of the set. Outside he hears Rami and Gwilym already on set.
But he doesn't hear Joe anywhere.
Or does he hear him? The only sound coming out of Joe's trailer is a lot of coughing.
Ben steps outside the trailer, and closes the door behind him.
After that he walks over to the director to ask him something. 'Hi uhm, can I ask something?' He asks carefully.
'Of course, always! Ask me.' Dexter, the director says kindly.
'Do you maybe know when Brian and Roger are coming?' Ben asks.
Dexter thinks for a moment and then smiles. 'They come after the "I'm in love with my care" scene. Why? Nervous?' He asks as a smirk appears on his face.
Ben frowns. 'Uhm yes something like that.' He mumbles. Then his name is called by one of the co-directors. 'I have to go, I talk to you again after the scene!' The blond quickly runs onto the set and takes a seat behind the kitchen counter where the "I'm in love with my car" scene will be shot.
Rami and Gwil are ready, but Joe is nowhere to be found yet.
'Guys, where's Joe?' Dexter asks confused.
The three boys look at each other, and shrug.
'Still in his trailer I think. I'll go get him.' Ben gets up and walks away from the other boys.

On the way to Joe's trailer, he suddenly bumps into Brian.
'Oh hey Brian, good you're here. Where's Roger?' He asks the guitarist. 
'Hi Ben, he asked me to pick him up extra early so that we could get you some lunch. He's in the cantine, I think.' Brian explains with a smile. 'But why aren't you with the others on the set? Did something happen?' Suddenly a worried undertone is found in his voice.
'Well, Yes. No. Perhaps. I don't really know yet. After the previous scene Joe suddenly had a bad coughing fit and started to breathe more and more heavily. He is now in his trailer. I was on my way to get him until I ran into you.' Ben explains a bit impatient, wanting to go to Joe as soon as he can.
When Brian sees the concern in the blond's eyes, he gives the boy a reassuring smile. 'Then go to him.'
Ben nods gratefully.
'And don't worry, Joe is a strong one. You can't get him down with a cold.' Brian says with a wink.
Ben smiles finally a bit less concerned, thanks to the guitarist. 'Okay, thank you very much Brian. I'll go get him.' And with those words, he hurries towards Joe's trailer.

He stops in front of Joe's trailer, listening closely if he can hear Joe. But it is suspiciously quiet in the trailer.
Ben knocks on the door, but doesn't get an answer. He frowns, getting a bit more worried now. 
After knocking one more time, the blond opens the trailer door and steps inside.
He raises his eyebrow when the only thing he sees is a pile of clothes on Joe's bed. But as soon as he gets closer, he sees that it is Joe who has fallen asleep under his own costume.
Ben squats down next to the bed, and carefully takes the Deaky-costume aside. Joe's face appears, and Ben's eyes widen when he sees the color the ginger's face is.
He has never seen such a red head before. He gently touches Joe's forehead to see if he has a fever.
The moment Ben's hand touches Joe, the boy starts to cough very hard.
Startled, Ben withdraws his hand.
Joe groans softly before curling up into a ball.
Ben smiles a little at that, and decides to just let the boy sleep. The director will understand it, and call it a day.
'Don't worry buddy, you'll be fine. I'll be right back. I'm not leaving you.' Ben whispers softly.
He is about to sneak out of the trailer when his phone makes a noise.

*Beep Beep*

Ben looks at Joe in shock. Would it have woken him?
The ginger turns around a few times, mumbles something in his sleep and continues to sleep peacefully.
Ben quickly walks out of the trailer, and shuts the door behind him.
He grabs his phone, and checks who has messaged him. It's Gwil, asking where he is.
The blond boy starts running back to the set as quickly as possible to explain everything to the others. He runs like he never has before.
Anything to get back to Joe as soon as possible...
