Chapter 84

The next morning Ben wakes up from his alarm. A little confused he looks at Joe's side of the bed. The only thing he founds is a small note.
He stretches out, making all his muscles pop. He rubs his eyes before reading the note. 

Morning my love♡
I'm heading to my audition, wish me luck! I left you some breakfast in the fridge btw. I hope I'll be back before lunch.
I love you♡ Xxx your Blanket.

Ben's lips immediately curl up into a smile. He puts the note on the bedside table, and gets out of bed. 
He decides to go to the gym after he had breakfast. In a few days he has a physical test, to see if he is fit enough for a big part in a movie. So some extra exercise won't hurt.
The boy puts on some sweats, and sleepily walks to the kitchen.
He instantly smiles when he opens the fridge and sees what Joe made him for breakfast.
Waffles.
The same kind as he made the morning after their engagement.
Ben flops down on the couch with his plate full of waffles. Then he thinks back to last night.
He fell asleep during the movie he and his friends were watching. And after that he had a nightmare in front of Joe.
Even though he knows that Joe wants to help him, he is still a little embarrassed. But knowing Joe is gonna be there for him to help, actually calms him down.
He hasn't slept that good in a long time.

When Ben has finished his plate of waffles, he puts his plate in the dishwasher. He looks at his watch and sees that it's exactly nine Am.
He goes to the bedroom and gathers all his stuff to go to the gym. Luckily the gym is only on a ten minutes walk away from their house.
He knows he will probably be back before Joe comes home from his audition, but he still decides to text him. Ever since the night Ben didn't come home because of Corey, he and Joe decided to text each other always.
Just in case.
Besides, Ben hates it when Joe has panic attacks because of him, so he's happy to do it.

(09:07 Am) Ben: Hi sweetie, I'm going to the gym. Wanna be prepared for my physical, you know ;)
I'll probably be home again before you are, but then you know where I am if I'm not at home. Let me know how your audition went. And thanks for the lovely waffles by the way♡

With a smile Ben sends the text, and gets ready to leave.

After a long workout in the gym, Ben comes home pretty exhausted.
He puts his clothes in the laundry and turns on the washing machine.
After texting Joe that he's home again, he decides to hop in the shower.
He strips off his clothes before stopping into the shower.
The hot water does his work and Ben enjoys the feeling. For more than half an hour, he listens to the sound of water falling while his eyes are closed. 

He doesn't open them again until he hears the front door.
Immediately a smile appears on his face when Joe's voice fills their house. 'Baby I'm home!' 
'In the shower!' Ben yells back.
There is silence for a few seconds. Ben can only imagine Joe smirking right now.
He hears some rumbling, before he sees the door handle go down.
'Hey sexy.' Joe walks into the bathroom with a big smile. He opens the door of the shower to give his boyfriend a kiss.
Ben leans in and presses his lips against Joe's.
When they pull away Ben giggles softly. 'You're getting all wet.'
He brushes some hairs from Joe's face. Who's shirt is already soaked because of the shower.
Joe giggles and shrugs. 'Don't care, I was planning on putting on some comfy clothes anyway.'
Ben turns off the shower, and puts a towel around his waist. 'You could've just join me you know? That would safe you some soaked clothes.' He giggles.
Joe rolls his eyes with a smile and pulls Ben closer to him by his waist.
Without hesitating Ben pulls Joe's face close to his with his index finger.
The ginger bites his lip slightly before reuniting his lips once again with Ben's.
Ben runs his tongue over Joe's lips, as if he is asking for access to his mouth.
But Joe keeps his mouth shut, and shakes his head. 'Nah ah, not before you get rid of that towel.' He whispers with a big smirk.
Ben gives him a defiant look and slowly loosens the towel. He throws it in de corner of the bathroom and takes a step closer to Joe. First, he peels off Joe's wet shirt, then he goes for Joe's belt.
'Let's go to the bedroom, shall we?' Ben whispers with a smirk when Joe is only left in his boxers.
'Is sex in a bathroom not good enough for Mr Hardy?' Joe says between kissing his boyfriend in the neck.
'Well, only the best for you my love.' Ben grins.
And before Joe knows, it Ben lifts him and takes him to their bedroom.
Joe lets out a little yelp when he feels Ben's muscular arms around his waist. A bunch of giggles escape his mouth.
After that, things quickly get hotter and hungrier...

For lunch the two of them decided to just make something easy. So Joe ended up with a plate full of cheese on toast, while Ben made himself a grilled cheese sandwich.
When they're on the couch watching some tv show, Ben realizes something. 'Gosh, I am a terrible boyfriend. I didn't even ask how your audition went.' He says with a look of guilt.
Joe chuckles softly and shakes his head. 'You're not. You did ask in the text you sent me this morning. I only forgot to text back.'
Ben smiles reassured.
'But it went okay, I guess. I'll get a call tonight.' Joe says quite nervous.
Ben scoots a little closer to Joe and pecks his lips. 'Don't worry sweetheart, you're an amazing actor. You'll get that role.'
A reassured smile appears on Joe's face. 'I hope so. Can we maybe watch a movie and just cuddle up? As distraction, you know.' He asks softly.
Ben nods happily. 'I'd love nothing more, Blanket.' He bends over and gives his boyfriend a kiss on the forehead. 
And so Ben puts on a movie. He knows that Joe probably will fall asleep during the movie, which is quite logical since his alarm went of at 5 this morning.
Joe nuzzles close to Ben, who starts gently playing with his ginger hair.

After a while Ben can feel Joe's muscles relax under his touch.
And as the boy expected, Joe's head gets heavier on his chest, and his breathing slows. Ben's lips curl into a big smile when he sees his boyfriend peacefully asleep in his arms. 

When it is almost dinner time, the two get startled by Joe's phone ringing.
Ben gently shakes the boy to wake him up. 'Baby, your phone is ringing.' He says softly.
Two sleepy hazel eyes stare at him, not understanding what's going on. But then the ginger's eyes widen as soon as he realizes what the noise is that woke him. 'Oh my god they're calling.' He exclaims.
Ben giggles and hands him his phone.
'Hello? Yes, you're speaking with Joseph Mazzello.' Joe says nervously.
Ben takes Joe's hand when he sees how nervous he is.
'Yes, that's right.' Joe says.
Then Ben feels that Joe gently squeezes his hand.
'Okay. I see. Well, thank you for calling. Bye.' Without any expression on his face, Joe puts his phone down.
'I didn't get the part.' He says softly.
Ben can see the disappointment in his eyes. 'Ow honey, I'm sorry.' He kisses Joe's hand.
The latter sighs and puts his head on Ben's chest. 'It's okay, I guess. It's just that I haven't had a new job in like seven months or so.'
Ben slowly rubs his hand over Joe's back. 'Baby, so what? Finding a good job takes time. For everyone.'
Joe nods in his chest. 'I know. But still.'
Ben smiles as he knows that his boyfriend needs a little push right now. 'You don't need a job with an audition, Joey. Just create your own job. You always tell me about your wish to make your own movie or play. Now is the perfect timing.'

Joe looks up with twinkles in his eyes. 'You really think I can do that?' A little doubt is found in his voice.
Ben grins a little and shakes his head. 'I don't think you can, I know you can.' He bends over and gives Joe a kiss on the forehead.
A sudden boost of confidence hits Joe, and with a big smile he nods. 'Well, maybe I will.'
Ben chuckles in victory.
Joe crawls onto Ben's lap, and gives him a sweet kiss on the lips.
'Where did I earn that for?' Ben giggles.
Joe grins and shrugs. 'For being cute, being sexy, and being everything to me.'
Before Ben can even respond to these sweet words Joe flies him around his neck.
'I love you so fucking much.' The ginger whispers during the hug.
Ben smiles and can feel his heart starts to beat faster. 'I love you too Joey. More than everything.' He whispers as he puts his arms around the small boy on his lap.

Sorry it took me so long to upload it, but the past two weeks I've just been on a cloud🥰 My mum told us she's pregnant again!

Today we went to her 7 weeks ultrasound, and guess what? She pregnant with fucking twins!!!😱💕💕
