Chapter 66

Ben quickly hangs up his coat and walks to the bed. 'Sweetheart what's wrong?' He whispers softly so he doesn't startle Joe.
Joe sits up, but is still panicking. Tears stream down his cheeks.
'Honey I'm gonna help you. Let's breath together. Fuck what was it again? Uhm, Inhala exhala?' When Ben says this he sees a tiny smile on Joe's face.
'T- that's S-Spanish you f- fool.' The ginger stutters.
Ben bursts out in laughter. 'Well fuck it, we'll do it in Spanish today.'
Joe lets out another sob and nods slowly.
'Okay, repeat after me. Inhala.' Ben takes Joe's hand and places it on his chest.
Joe takes a breath in, trying to follow Ben's breathing. 'In-inhala.' He stutters, sobbing.
Ben smiles. 'Very well. Now, exhala.'

They go on like this for a while. When Joe calms down, Ben pulls him close to him. 'Why did you panic so badly Joey?' He asks. 
Joe puts his head on Ben's chest and closes his eyes. 'It... it was just like that one night. You just didn't come home and I - I was afraid it was happening again.' He sniffles.
Ben runs his hands through Joe's hair and gives him a kiss on the forehead. 'Lo siento mi amor.'
Joe chuckles softly. 'I don't speak Spanish, sorry.'
Ben smiles. 'It means: I'm sorry my love. I was in a traffic jam but I should have texted you. I am so sorry.'
Joe looks up with a smile and gently pushes his lips against Ben's. 'I love you.' He mumbles before closing his eyes.

When Joe has fallen asleep against Ben, the blond whispers softly: 'I love you so much Joey. I'm sorry I got you into this. You don't deserve this.' He carefully maneuvers out from under Joe after just staring at the sleeping boy for a second. He covers the ginger with the blanket and gives him a gentle kiss on the cheek.
He gets up from bed and sits down at the table. Amber instructed him to write down everything he is grateful for.
This is certainly such a moment. But he still feels guilty. He doesn't deserve Joe at all.

After he has finished writing, he takes off his clothes and lies down next to Joe. A big smile appears on his face when Joe snuggles close against him and puts his arm around him.
'I love you, Blanket.' Ben whispers before slowly falling asleep too.

Two weeks later it is time for the Bohemian Rhapsody wrap party. Roger insisted that the party be at his house.
It's eight o'clock, and Gwil and Lina are getting ready to go.
Gwilym is standing in front of the mirror doing his hair when he suddenly sees Lina storming out of the bathroom.
'Oh my god. Gwilly, I just felt the twins move.' She says happily.
Gwil's eyes widen, and he turns around happily. 'Really?' His voice cracks because of his happiness.
Lina nods with twinkles in her eyes. She takes Gwil's hand and places it on her stomach.
Tears of happiness appear in his eyes when Gwil feels the two little girls move too. 'I can't wait to meet them.' He whispers softly.
With a smile, Lina wipes away his tears with her thumb. 'Me neither. Now let's go. We don't want to be late.' She says.
Gwil nods with a smile. 'You look beautiful love.'
After a sweet kiss, the two leave for the party.

When the two arrive at Roger's house and knock on the door, a blond lady opens the door. 'Hi guys, you must be Gwilym and Lina. Man you look like Brian.' She says to Gwil with a big smile.
'Yep, that's us.' Gwil giggles.
The lady holds out her hand and shakes hands with the two. 'I am Sarina. Come on in.'

When the two enter, they see Dexter, Roger, Rami and Lucy already inside. A large part of the crew is also already present.
Music is playing in the background, setting the mood.
'Hey guys, aren't Ben and Joe here yet?' Gwil asks.
Roger shakes his head. 'Not yet. Maybe they're busy together.' He says with a grin.

Meanwhile at Joe and Ben's hotel room.

'Hurry up baby, we're already late.' Ben is impatiently waiting for Joe, who is still in the bathroom.
'I'm coming, I'm almost done.' Joe shouts from the bathroom.
Ben immediately notices that there is something wrong. Joe sounds less cheerful than usual. 'Is everything okay honey?' He asks.
It remains silent for a moment.
'Yeah everything's... fine. I'm just trying to do my hair right.' Joe chuckles.
Yet, Ben doesn't quite believe him. And Ben is right.

Joe nervously walks back and forth in the bathroom. He just got a message and he doesn't know what to do.
Should he tell Ben about it? He reads the message again with trembling hands.

(20:21 Pm) Unknown number:
Hi Joseph. I think you know who I am. We have met before.
I have heard from faithful sources that you and Ben are a happy couple? How happy I am for you. But still I don't think Ben deserves you.
He's a murderer, remember?
So you're going to keep a little distance from him the next few days. Otherwise I'll have to tear you apart by myself. And that will not happen gently, believe me.
Break his heart or I'll have to break things. I know where to find you.

Joe quickly wipes his tears when he hears Ben calling his name once more. He quickly runs a comb through his hair and unlocks the bathroom door. 'Who's ready for a party?' He says with a small smile when he comes out of the bathroom.
'I'm ready. Are you?' Ben asks with a raised eyebrow.
Joe stays silent for a moment, then nods. 'Yeah, let's go.'

Sorry the past few chapters and the few upcoming chapters aren't of a very good quality. I wrote all these chapters while I was in the hospital, so they're not very great🙃
I've been trying to improve them, but I quite failed.
