Chapter 75

'So, are you gonna explain me the whole trust issue thing or not?' Gwil says upon entering the living room, with a this time quiet Lexi. Looks like she, just like her sister, has fallen asleep.
'Yeah yeah, I'll explain.' Rami sighs.
Gwil nods and sits down on the couch.
'It's just... my previous relationship ended earlier than I wanted. And that was because my girlfriend Mia cheated on me. Several times. And she chose the worst person imaginable.' Rami says. He sees Gwil's eyes widen.
'Oh my god. I'm so sorry for that. But with who did she cheat on you?' The tall boy asks curiously.  
Rami takes a deep breath. 'Sami, my twin brother.' Rami says, so soft that Gwil canhardly hear him. 
And yet he knows exactly what Rami said. Gwil's mouth falls open in surprise.
'Sami didn't know she was my girlfriend because I had never introduced her to my family. But Mia knew. And yet she did it. So when I saw that message from Lucy, I freaked out. And because of that stupid stuff from the past, I've now lost Lucy.' A tear runs down Rami's cheek. 
Gwil gets up, and with Lexi in his arms, he sits down next to Rami. 'Well, what are you waiting for? Go to Lucy and explain to her.' 
Rami shakes his head. 'No, I better leave her alone for now. I'll talk to her later.'
Gwil nods at that.

With a smile, he watches his daughter holding his friend's finger tightly, even now that she is fast asleep. 'She really likes you.' Gwil says with a smile.
Rami looks at the little girl in awe. 'Oh, I'm going to teach these two how to fool people.' He says with a grin. He laughs when he sees Gwil's questioning look. 'Did I never tell you how my brother graduated from school?'
Gwil shakes his head. 
'Well, Sami needed some extra points to graduate. So his teacher told him that if he delivered him a Greek monologue, he would graduate. But of course he didn't know one. But I did, so I took his place at the day of the exam. And so he graduated.' Rami giggles softly when he thinks back to those old times.
Gwil shakes his head with a smile. 'Yeah there's no way you're gonna teach my children that. I want them to be sweet, not as weird as you are.'
Rami tries to look offended, but fails and he bursts out laughing.
'Can we switch babies for a moment? Then I'll put Tess in the playpen first. And you can meet Lexi.' Gwil asks.
Rami smiles and nods.

After both Lexi and Tess are in the playpen, Rami gets up.
'I should head home. It was a pleasure to meet them, Gwil. They are beautiful.' He says with a big smile.

Two weeks later, it is Ben and Joe's one year anniversary.
That afternoon, Ben went to their date location to get everything ready.
Ben told Joe that they don't leave for their date until seven. And since it is only four o'clock now, they decided to watch a movie together.

Joe notices that Ben is much more nervous than he normally is for a date. But every time Joe asks if he's nervous, Ben denies it. 
The two plop down on the couch, and Joe immediately snuggles close to Ben. He puts his head on Ben's chest and smiles when he feels Ben's heart pounding. 'Your heart is racing like crazy.' Joe whispers with a grin. 
Ben chuckles and blushes a little. 'That is my happiness you feel. I feel so lucky with you so close to me. I can't believe I can call you my boyfriend for a year already.' The blond says softly.
But Joe doesn't respond.
Ben bites his lip. 'Sorry, I know I have to save this sappy stuff for tonight.' He quickly says afterwards.
Joe shakes his head. 'No no, that's not it honey. I'm just trying not to cry. I promised myself not to cry too much today.' The ginger says reassuringly. With a smile Joe looks up, allowing Ben to see the tears in his eyes, sparkling in the sunlight shining into the room. 

Ben giggles and pulls him close. 'Yeah... I don't think you'll be able to do that.' He says teasingly.
Joe looks up, offended. 'Hey, have a little faith in me please!' 
Ben chuckles and looks at him with a mischievous smile. 'Or else?'
Joe sits up and pretends to think. 'Or else I'll punish you.' He says with a smirk. He puts his hand on Ben's hip. He slowly moves his hand up over Ben's chest.
'You know this is not a punishment right?' Ben whispers, shivering at Joe's delicate touch.
Joe giggles softly. 'I'm not done yet.' He lifts his hand a little further, and starts tickling Ben out of nowhere.
A bunch of giggles escape Ben's mouth. 'J-Joey.... stop!' He yells. When he gets the chance, Ben grabs Joe's hands in his own so that the ginger can no longer tickle him. The blond presses his lips against Joe's, and they soon melt into a passionate kiss.
Joe falls back on the couch and pulls Ben with him.
The blond now hoovers above Joe's face with a big smile. 'You are even beautiful when you punish me, Blanket.' He says with a soft giggle.
Joe blushes and gives Ben another kiss to make sure he doesn't see it.
Without any hesitation, Ben joins the kiss.
Joe's hands find their way around Ben's neck.
And soon their tongues are dancing together like never before.
When they pull away, Joe gives Ben a push that makes him fall backwards. Still with butterflies in his stomach, he plops on top of Ben.
The latter lets out a soft giggle when he feels this sudden weight on his chest.
'God I love you.' He whispers softly as he runs his hand through Joe's hair.
Joe smiles. 'I love you more Benny.'
It takes Ben a while to understand what Joe said, because it is being muffled away by Ben's hoodie. But once he understands what the older boy just said, a big smile appears on his face.

At seven that evening the two leave for their date.
When they are in the car, Joe tries to guess where they are going. 'Come on, give me one hint. Please? I'm so curious!'
Ben laughs at that. 'Okay then, one hint. We won't be sleeping at home tonight.' He looks at Joe with a mysterious smile.
'Okay, now I'm even more curious.' Joe admits.
'Just a little while longer, my love. We're almost there.' Ben says before intertwining their fingers.

Sorry I didn't upload yesterday, I kinda forgot. I just spent the day with chillin, celebrating my week full of exams is over🎉

I'm afraid I really messed up though, but I'm just gonna blame covid if my grades are bad✌🏻
