"How much further?", asked Asuna, as Kazuto was holding her by her hand and dragging her through a forest. "We're getting close."
The young female grumbled with a pout on her face, already tired from the nonstop walking. It would've rubbed salt into her wounds if she found out that her husband had brought her out into the middle of nowhere for nothing.Kazuto stopped walking, making Asuna bump into his back. "Okay, here we are." "About time. Now what is it that you brought me out here fo-!"
Asuna's hands flew up to her mouth in shock.
Standing before her was a tree, with a swing attached to it. It sounded like something simple, but to Asuna and Kazuto, this was something very special to them.
"Kazuto, is this..." "The place where I proposed to you? Yes it is." The raven haired male placed a sweet tender kiss on his wife's cheek.
"Happy anniversary."A little while back, when Kazuto and Asuna were still dating, the two lovebirds came across this very swing. Having been tired from a long walk then, they sat down and relaxed. Eventually, the swing became a common place for them to hangout at. When the time came, Kazuto proposed to Asuna under the tree, which she obviously said yes to.
However, after they got married, the couple were unable to return to this swing for two years.
Until today.Asuna walked around the tree with a cheerful smile, almost like a child looking around a candy store.
Kazuto snuck behind a tree, and pulled out a basket. "You hungry?" Asuna turned around, looking down at what was in her husband's hand and smiling.
The two young adults rested a blanket on the ground and took out their meals. Thanks to Asuna, Kazuto was able to make the food himself, even if they were just simple things like sandwiches.
While they ate their lunch, Asuna gazed up at the swing, watching it sway back and forth slightly from the gentle breeze that just blew through. Kazuto finished the last of his sandwich and picked up his adoring wife, placing her down on the swing. "Care for a swing, my lady?"
The chestnut haired woman laughed and wrapped her hands around the chains that held up the wooden board under her.
Kazuto gently positioned his hands behind Asuna's back, then pushed her forward until she flew a few inches into the air.The young male continued doing this, until he got an opportunity to jump up onto the swing and grab the chains. Asuna, at first shocked at the additional weight on the swing, laughed along with her husband, as they swayed to and fro in the air.
Once they were slightly ahead, Kazuto and Asuna fell off the swing, landing on their picnic blanket.
But instead of groaning in pain, they let out joyful laughter.
After catching their breath, they gazed into the eyes of one another, before leaning in for a kiss.
"Happy anniversary", said Asuna. Kazuto smiled and nuzzled his face into her neck, feeling her arms wrapping around his back.
