"What about this one?", asked Suki with enthusiasm. Her older sister, Kaishi, looked at where her sibling was looking. It was a dark blue dress, decorated with sparkly jewels to mane it look like the night sky.
The two girls' mother, Maki Momota, looked at the dress herself. She admired its beauty, but winced at its price.
"I don't know, girls. It's really expensive." "But don't you have a lot of money, Mommy?", asked Suki. It was true. Maki did have a big amount of money, which was thanks to her idea of saving up for special occasions, like right now.
"True, but is it really necessary that I buy this? I mean, their could be something else..." Kaishi held her mother's hand. "Mom, this is for dad. If it's from you, he doesn't care what it is."
Maki sighed, knowing that her daughter was indeed right.
"Okay. I'll buy the dress." The two girls clapped their hands.

. . .

Kaito tucked his son, Kakeru, into bed, rubbing his head gently. He stood up and straightened his tie, walking out of the room.
He looked around the house. "Maki? You ready?" "Almost!", Maki called.
Kaito smiled and walked out the door, seeing his two daughters staring at him with cheeky grins. "What are you two smiling at?" "You'll see..."
"Okay, just get to bed. It's late, you know." The two girls ran to their room while in a giggling fit, which Kaito couldn't help but chuckle at.
"Kaito, could you wait outside?", called Maki.
The young man was confused at the request, but did as his wife said nonetheless. "You got it!"

Kaito put his hands in his pockets, waiting for his wife so that they could go out on their date. He stared up at the stars while listening to the crickets. Then a new sound came. The sound of a door opening.
"Okay. I'm ready." Kaito turned around and felt his jaw drop. Before him stood his wife, wearing a dark blue dress, decorated in white sparkles that resembled stars, making it appear as if Maki was wearing a galaxy. "So, what do think?", she asked, the smallest hint of a blush forming on her face.
Kaito walked up to her and took her hand, pulling her into a kiss.
"Did you put on this dress just for me?" Maki nodded. "I love it." The young woman looked into her husband's eyes. "Happy Anniversary, you big idiot."

Kaito lead Maki to their car, opening the door for her and climbing into the driver's seat. The married couple drove off to enjoy yet another beautiful date night.
