"Boy, it sure is cold, huh?", said Pyrrha, who was actually acting. Jaune stared at her with confusion. "It's not that cold, is it?"
From a small distance, behind a tree, hid Ren and Nora. "She's going to blow it", said the young man. "Don't be so negative", said Nora, bonking him on the head.
Pyrrha still pretended to feel cold, waiting for Jaune to make a move. The young man slowly lifted his arm, while the redhead next to him chanted in her mind. "Yes! Yes!" As Jaune's hand was about to touch Pyrrha's shoulder, the bell rang, signaling all the students to return to class. "NO!", Pyrrha mentally screamed. Ren looked at Nora. "Told you."

In the dorms, Pyrrha had her face planted into the pillow, while her two friends stared at her. "What will it take to get him to date me?", the redheaded girl whined. "Are we just not meant to be together?" "Don't give up hope!", said Nora, pumping her fist.
"I had a hard time asking Ren out, now look at us!" "I'm right here", the aforementioned man said. "But you guys are different!", cried Pyrrha. "You're excited and outgoing, Nora! I'm not!" "So? That doesn't mean it was easy to ask Ren out!"
Ren nodded. "It's true. Nora was pretty nervous. But, she pushed past that, and now we're dating."
"Yep!", exclaimed Nora, kissing her boyfriend's cheek.
Pyrrha groaned. Seeing her two friends all lovey dovey while she was single was irritating to her soul. A knock came at the door. "Ren? Nora? You guys in there?" It was Jaune. Pyrrha panicked and jumped off the bed, running to the closet and hiding inside of it. Ren walked over to the door and opened it to see his friend.
"Hi Ren. Can I come in?" "Sure. What's up?" Jaune entered the room. "Nora's here too? I guess this makes things a little easier." "What are you talking about?" Jaune sighed.
"Don't laugh, but I want to ask Pyrrha out."
Ren and Nora froze in shock, and so did the hidden Pyrrha. "Why?", asked Ren. Jaune sighed. "I like her. I have for a long time. But I was too scared to ruin our friendship. But after today, when I almost wrapped my arm around her, I couldn't hide it anymore. I'm in love with Pyrrha, and I want to ask her out."
Ren and Nora looked past their friend, seeing their other friend emerging from the closet. "Are you kidding me?" Jaune jumped around. "Pyrrha? Did you..." "Hear all that? Yes I did! You like me? And you want to ask me out?"
Jaune shut his eyes, preparing for rejection. "About damn time!", exclaimed Pyrrha. "I have been trying so hard to give you a hint that I liked you! And now? Now I finally get to go out on a date with you!"
Jaune couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You like me?" Pyrrha blushed. "Yeah. I really do." There was a moment of silence, before the pair lunged at each other and shared a deep kiss.
Meanwhile, Ren and Nora looked at each other, and snuck out the room. "I have to go tell Ruby!", exclaimed the girl, running off. Ren sighed. "Oh boy."
