Haru was practically squealing as she and her wife were making their way to the adoption agency. "I can't believe it! We're about to become parents!" Tokaku couldn't help but smile at her wife's excitement. In truth, she herself couldn't believe it. She was really going to be a mother. She had gone through enough practice with Haru to know everything about parenting. She was ready.

The couple arrived at the agency that would give them their future child. "Welcome, Mrs Ichinose-Azuma's. Are you here for your child?", asked the man that stood at the entrance.
The two women nodded. "Right this way then." He lead them to where all the babies were resting. "They all look so cute!", gushed Haru. Tokaku looked at all of them, and agreeing with what her lover said.

They inspected all the babies and one caught their eye. "Who's this cutie?" "This little girl just came in a week ago. Her and her sister." The two woman's eyes widened. "Sister?" "That's right. She's right over there."

Tokaku and Haru looked at the crib right next to the one they were standing by. In it was indeed another baby. "They look the same age. Are they twins?", asked Haru. "Yes they are, ma'am. Fraternal, actually, considering they're different hair colors."
Tokaku looked closer and saw that the baby the were standing by had pink hair, while the other one had blue hair. It somewhat reminded her of her and Haru.

. . .

"I want her", Haru said to her wife. "I want the little baby with the pink hair." "What's so wrong with that?", asked Tokaku. "If I take her, then that means we'll leave her sister! I don't want to do that!"

The blue haired woman thought on this. They had discussed on only having one child. She looked through the glass at the two female infants, specifically at the blue haired one. The thought of separating the two sisters made her heart ache terribly.

"Why not both?" Haru's head shot up. "What?" "Why don't we adopt both of them?" Tokaku took Haru's hand. "I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I was responsible for our daughter being separated from her sister. I know, we planned on only raising one child, but..."

Haru silenced her wife with a deep kiss. "You have such a good heart Tokaku. I wouldn't be against having another child, but what about you?"
Tokaku smiled. "Yes. I want to do this. And I will do anything to prove that I am willing to raise two children and..." "Honey, you just suggested taking in a second child in order to make the other happy. All you proved was that you are an amazing woman, and a wonderful mother."

Tokaku smiled. Haru always had the ability to touch her with her words.

"So we're doing it. We're adopting twins", she said. "We're adopting twins!", Haru repeated more excitedly.

. . .

Haru cradled the blue haired baby in her arms, and gently laid it down in the crib next to her sister. "So glad this thing is big enough for the both of them."

Tokaku stood over the crib, while her wife wrapped her arms over her shoulders from behind. "I just realized we never thought of names." The bluenette was shocked. She was right, they didn't.

Haru pointed at the pink haired baby. "I want to call her Natsumi." Tokaku looked at the other baby, and thought of a name. She finally got one. "Let's call her Fuyumi." Haru thought on this. "Natsumi and Fuyumi... summer and winter?"
Tokaku smiled. "Just trying to be clever." The redhead giggled and kissed her wife's cheek, then turned her attention back to their daughters.

"Welcome to your new home, Natsumi and Fuyumi."
