Somewhere in the neighborhood, was a house that was home to a lovely married couple. Lovely, but loud.
"Hah! Take that!", cheered Chiaki, who had just received another victory on a game she was playing. Beside the gamer, sat a young man, eating a pack of gummy worms. This was her husband, Hajime Hinata.
Chiaki was a professional gamer, emphasis on professional. There has almost never been a single game she hasn't lost. She was also of course famous for her loud personality. But most of her fame wouldn't have been possible without the love of her life, Hajime.
They met in college, where Chiaki began her career as a professional gamer. Her roommate was a girl named Mikan Tsumiki, who was dating a guy named Nagito Komaeda. Nagito was friends with Hajime, which was when she met him.
The young male only stopped by to pick something up that he had forgotten in the dorm, and walked in on the pink haired gamer playing a new game that had released. This game, was a strategy game, the kind Chiaki was terrible in.
Hajime decided to be nice and help out, revealing that he was a natural with strategy and gave Chiaki a win.
They became even closer when Chiaki of all people was assigned to be Hajime's tutor, as he, despite being incredibly smart, sucked at algebra. This gave them a chance to help each other out. Hajime gained assistance in his education, while Chiaki got assistance again in her video game.
Her career skyrocketed, and her and Hajime were labeled as the ultimate gamer duo by the media.
It wasn't long before the two had fallen for each other. One thing lead to another, and they started dating. Two years later, Hajime popped the big question, and they got married.
"Gummy worm me", said Chiaki, opening her mouth. Hajime put the sweet in her mouth, not taking his eyes off the screen of the TV. "So, what's next?" "Maybe move your unit down this path, then put a ranged unit up on this hill."
Chiaki laughed. "No, you dork! What's next now? I'm done playing for tonight!" "Oh." The girl giggled and took the last gummy worm from the packet. She put one end in her mouth, and gestured for her husband to do the same to the other end. He did so, and the couple started chewing until they reached the center, where their lips connected.
"Just like Lady and the Tramp." "This isn't spaghetti, Chiaki. Besides, I doubt that two people can conveniently eat the same spaghetti strand." Chiaki pouted. Leave it to Hajime's skepticism to spoil the mood.
"I think we've played enough games for tonight. We need to get to bed." Hajime picked up his wife and piggybacked her to their room. "Wee!", Chiaki playfully cheered.
