Vorona stared out the window at all the happy couples that were walking in the streets of Ikebukuro. Shizuo was currently at work, and gave her a day off as she was pushing herself the last few days. The blonde woman was so caught up in her own little world, that she nearly had a heart attack from something attaching itself to her leg. Much to her relief, however, it was just Akane.
"Are you okay, Vorona?", asked the little girl. The Russian woman walked over to the couch and plopped down. "Are you worried because Shizuo is all alone? Don't worry. He can take care of himself."
Vorona chuckled. Of course she knew that. This was Shizuo Heiwajima they were talking about, after all.
But it was worry that Vorona was feeling. Worry about herself, actually. "Akane, do you know what couples do?" Akane tilted her head. Vorona shook her head. She was asking a child after all.
"They hold hands!" The blonde was shocked. "They also hug, and kiss, and say how much they love each other, and give each other gifts..." "H-how do you know all this?" "From movies!"
Vorona was impressed. Never did she expect to receive helpful advice from a little girl. "Why are you asking? Isn't Shizuo already your boyfriend?"
"He is, I just want to treat him like it."
Vorona began to think.
"A gift, hm?"

Shizuo dusted himself off and made sure there wasn't anything else on him that made him look like a mess. Once he was done cleaning himself, he walked through the door and entered the elevator, selecting the floor where his apartment resided.
Once he reached to said floor, he walked over to the door and opened it, being met with quite a peculiar sight.
His girlfriend was standing before him, in her black silk pajamas, with her hands behind her back. "Vorona?" "Something bothering you?" "N-no! It's just... you don't really wear this at this time." "I wanted to look cute for you."
Shizuo blushed. If she wanted to look cute, she was doing a pretty good job at that. "What you hiding there?" Vorona removed her hands from behind her back to show a small pink gift box. The blonde man took it and began opening it, seeing a new pair of blue lensed sunglasses. "Since you broke your last pair, I thought..." Shizuo put the pair on his eyes. "Their perfect. Thank you, Vorona." The Russian woman blushed.
"But what's with your behavior, now? You never act like this?" "That's exactly why I'm doing this. I feel like I'm not doing good job at being your lover, and Akane told me that this is what two people in relationship do." Shizuo smiled and hugged Vorona. He placed a soft kiss on her head. "Vorona, you don't have to try so hard to be the perfect girlfriend. Just be yourself, because that's who I fell in love with."
Vorona couldn't help but smile at his words. "Don't get me wrong, I love the new glasses. And you look really cute in this outfit."
The Japanese man placed a kiss on his girlfriend's lips.
"Now, after a rough day, what I really need now is to sit on the couch and watch TV. Care to join me?" "Is it something couples do?" "Well... yeah." "Then yes."
The couple took a seat on the couch and turned the TV on. As Shizuo switched through channels, Vorona snuggled close to him, resting her head on his chest.
