Natsu let out a soft yawn as he woke up, seeing he was in an unfamiliar room. But he didn't panic.
His attention drifted to what lied next to him. The love of his life.
Lucy Heartfilia.
The memories from the day before came flooding back into the dragon slayer's head, making the smile that was already plastered on his face grow bigger and bigger. The salmon haired male looked down at his hand and was reminded that Lucy was no longer his girlfriend, but his wife.
A big occasion had occurred on the previous day: the wedding of Natsu and Lucy.
Like many couples, they both were nervous, but excited. It was a heartfelt day for the Fairy Tail guild, so much that even Gajeel nearly shed a tear. Keyword being nearly. The real one to burst into a flood of tears was Mirajane. Poor Laxus just didn't have enough tissues for her.
What got the couple even more excited was their honeymoon. Makarov had made a reservation for them at a five star hotel.
Once they had come to this said hotel, lust had taken Natsu and Lucy over, and the rest is left to your imagination.
And now we have come to where we are now, with Natsu resting beside his lovely wife. His hand hovered close to the side of her scalp, gently touching it and stroking down to the bottom of her cheek. This made the celestial mage's eyes open. She stared at her lover with sleepy eyes, but smiled.
"Morning."
Natsu lunged forward, connecting his lips with Lucy's, making her exhaustion vanish and be replaced with shock.
Natsu moved away and gave Lucy a gentle smile. "Morning."
"What was that for?", asked Lucy, holding her fingers to her lips. "What? Am I not allowed to kiss my wife?" Lucy smiled, then leaned in as well, returning the kiss from just now, only Natsu wasn't shocked. He simply let his wife kiss him.
She pulled away and gave him a smile.
"Only if I get to kiss my husband."
