Naoto stood outside of the house of his girlfriend, Hayase Nagatoro, waiting anxiously for her to come out in a light blue dress shirt and jeans. They had recently just became a couple, and were now about to go on their very first date.
He thought back to the previous day in school, where he was in the art club as usual with Hayase. She had asked him out, and, based off of previous encounters with her, Naoto thought she was joking. But she wasn't'. Thus, they had established their very first date.
And Naoto wanted it to be perfect. Absolutely perfect.

The front door of the house opened, and out of it walked a certain tanned female. "Senpai!" Naoto looked at Hayase, seeing her wearing a black skirt that reached down halfway to her shin, with a light grey blouse to go with it. The teen male blushed at her look, forcing a smirk to grow on the girl's face.
"What? You like what you see, pervert?"
Naoto snapped himself out of his daze. "Um, you look great!" "Just great?" "Um... very pretty?" Hayase giggled, making Naoto's heart skip a few beats. "Well then, show me this oh so great date you have planned for us", said Hayase, taking her boyfriend's hand.
Naoto returned the gesture and took the ebony skinned girl off on their little date.

. . .

"Here we are!" Hayase looked up at the restaurant they arrived at. It was a big café, in fact, it was also an expensive one. Hayase had seen this place before, and knew a little about it. Standing in front of it, let alone knowing that she was going enter it, made her jaw drop.
"Senpai, are we going to go... in there?" "Um, y-yeah!" "But this place is expensive!" "Not a problem! I just want to give you a good night!"
Hayase smirked to herself. "That's gonna be taken out of context."

The couple entered the café, looking for a table they could sit at. "Over there looks good", said Naoto, pointing at an open door that led to a balcony.
They walked over to their designated area, taking a seat. "Look at this view", said Hayase, looking beyond the horizon where the sun had just set, making the sky a dark grey, close to pitch black night. She looked back at her date.
"How the hell were you able to afford all this, Senpai?" "I've saved up! I do it often for just in case. Guess that time finally came."
Hayase was about to object, but didn't get the chance as the waiter had showed up, asking for their orders.
The dark skinned girl decided to be a tease and place a finger on Naoto's lips. "One vanilla milkshake, please. One."
"Just one?" Hayase nodded. "With two straws, too, please." "Alright then. It will be right out." Naoto looked at his date with a confused expression. "Why only one?" "Why not? How much does it cost, by the way?" "Um, about 305 yen."
Hayase let out a short hum.

After waiting for a few minutes, the milkshake had arrived in a tall glass. The waiter placed two straws down as well. Hayase took her straw and dipped it in the dairy drink, with Naoto doing the same.
It took him about a second to realize the situation he was in, but didn't say anything. Instead, he looked at Hayase, who rested her head in both the palms of her hands, smiling with the straw in her mouth.
"Should I order some spaghetti? We might end up kissing."
Naoto nearly choked on the milkshake in his throat, but he recovered and swallowed it. "I-I could order some, if you would like some." "Nah, I'm good. Let's just order separate stuff." "Oh, um, sure. Sounds good."

. . .

"That was delicious!", exclaimed Hayase, patting her stomach for emphasis. Naoto stood beside her and held out his hand. "The date isn't over yet." "It isn't? But we just..." "The night's still young."
Hayase felt herself get dragged by her boyfriend. She was struggling to keep up with him, but their trip did not last long, as Naoto came to a stop. "Well, here we are."
The dark skinned girl peeked from behind the spectacled young man, seeing a Ferris Wheel ahead of them. "Shall we?"

The couple walked over to the mechanical structure, booking a cart for them. They climbed in, and felt themselves ascending to the skies.
Naoto smiled as he stared at Hayase, who was smiling in glee like a child staring at a giant cake.
She noticed him staring, and grinned as he looked away with a red face. Naoto felt a presence uncomfortably close to him, and he knew what it was. He looked next to him, to see Hayase smiling at him.

His eyes slowly closed, and his head leaned in. Hayase read the situation perfectly and did the exact same action her boyfriend did. In a short second, their lips joined, making it feel like fireworks for the both of them. This was their second kiss, the first one being when they confessed their feelings for each other.

. . .

"Thanks for tonight, Senpai. It was... incredible."
Naoto mentally cheered to himself, until he said the last part a little out loud.
"I created the perfect date!" Hayase sighed. "Senpai, is that what this was all about?" She walked over to Naoto.

"Look, you don't have to make a date perfect. It's perfect in any way, because I'm with you."
She kissed his cheek, making his eyes widen.
The young male was about to speak, but had a finger pressed to his lips.
"Don't tell anyone at school about this, okay, Naoto?" Naoto's became even more shocked. "Yes, I did say your name. But I'll only say it when we're alone, okay? Same goes for lovey dovey affection stuff." Naoto nodded. "C-can I kiss you again?"
"Do you have to ask?"

The couple shared one last kiss for the night, and went their separate ways, happy as clouds.
