Enterprise was on a ship, somewhere in the middle of the ocean, with many of her comrades. They all had emerged victorious, but became lost in a thick fog in the process.
The white haired woman took a photo out from her pocket. A smile grew on her face as she looked at the image. An image of her standing beside another white haired woman, both of them wearing casual clothing and hugging each other close with the biggest smiles on their faces.
"We will get through this fog. We must", said Enterprise. She put the photo back in her pocket and walked back to the other ship girls on board.
. . .
Belfast sat on the bed, holding tightly onto a pillow and sniffing it, inhaling the scent of her lover.
The maid was worried. Actually, way beyond that.
The woman she loved was out at sea, facing who knows what kind of dangers. What if she had gotten hurt? Or worse?Belfast couldn't go with Enterprise. She had gotten sick, and had to stay behind, much to her disappointment.
"Please. Please come back to me", Belfast whispered, tightly clutching onto the pillow in her arms.
"They're back!", someone exclaimed from outside. The maid jumped up and ran at the speed of light outside. She stood alongside all the other ship girls, watching the giant ship make its way back to the docks. Once it anchored, all the crew members walked off, and were greeted by everyone. Enterprise looked through the crowd, spotting the person she was looking for.
Standing a few feet from her, was Belfast, who's hands were covering her mouth while tears threatened to leave her eyes. The two woman began running towards each other, joining in an embrace. Their hug was tight, as if it would be their last one ever. Belfast looked at her lover, jumping up a bit for Enterprise to keep her in the air, which was where they shared a deep kiss.
They separated after about a minute, a string of saliva between them. "I missed you so much", said Belfast. "I can say the same thing", said Enterprise.
The two woman hugged one another. "I was so afraid. Afraid that you wouldn't come back", said Belfast. "How? How can you go out there without being afraid? I'm absolutely terrified at the thought of you not coming back. At the thought of losing you."Enterprise stroked her lover's hair. "The truth is... I'm always afraid. Afraid that I could die at any time. But I push my fears aside. You know why?"
Belfast pulled out the hug to receive the answer.
"Because by fighting, I am making the world a safer place for you. For us. And the thought of seeing you is what keeps me going. If I do die one day, then I want to see you one last time before I leave. Belfast, you are my reason for fighting."
Belfast smiled, feeling tears begin to leak from her eyes.
"You are such a charmer, Enterprise." The said woman wiped the maid's tears away and softly kissed her on the lips. The latter then suddenly grabbed her hands.
"You made me so worried, Enterprise. In fact, I think it's still there. You are going to have to ease my stress." Enterprise raised a brow. "What are you suggesting?" Belfast leaned in to her ear.
"I think you know", she whispered, nipping the earlobe.
Enterprise blushed, and felt herself being dragged away by her lover to their home, where they made love all night long.
