Nene snuck into the house while carrying big box. She placed it somewhere where it wouldn't be easily seen, especially by her fiancé.
"Nene? Is that you?" A young man with black hair walked into the room and spotted the white haired woman. "Nene!" He ran to her and hugged her tightly. "I missed you!" "I wasn't gone that long, was I?" "You were gone for an hour!"
Nene rolled her eyes. Sometimes her lover was so possessive.
The young man's amber eyes caught sight of the box his fiancée was trying to hide. "What's this? Hopefully not a gift from a paramour." Nene laughed awkwardly. "I was hoping to save that for later. But I guess I could give it to you now." She handed the big box over to her fiancé. "I wonder what it could be."
He pulled off the tape that kept the box shut, and opened it. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped. "Is this..." "Surprise!"
Amane lifted the object up. It was a telescope. He put it aside and lifted his lover up, swinging her in a circle. "I love you, I love you, I love you!" His teasing attitude from just now was replaced with genuine happiness and gratitude.
Kisses were repeatedly planted onto Nene's face, and until a nice long one landed on her lips. "Have I told you how much I love you?" "Just about a second ago, yes." "But that's because I love you!" Nene pushed herself out of the embrace and moved over to the telescope. "So are we gonna set this up or what?"
"Yep! And I know the perfect place."
Amane dashed up the stairs, and Nene followed him. He pushed open the door to the balcony and began setting up his gift. Nene watched her husband-to-be acting liking a giddy child. Once the telescope was fully operational, Amane did not hesitate to peak through the lens. "There's Orion's Belt! Judging by its position, that must mean Scorpio should be right around... there!"
"Once again, I fall victim to your vast knowledge of astrology", said Nene. "Oh, would you say it turns you on?" "Not tonight, handsome." Amane grumbled. He missed the old Nene, who would get flustered at every flirtatious comment he threw at her. The said woman walked over to the telescope and looked through the lens. "I think I see Betelgeuse. So right down there is Alnitak, right?"
"You've learned well, my dear." "I am engaged to an astrologist, aren't I?"
Amane wrapped his arms around his fiancée's waist from behind. "That you are." Nene turned around and placed her lips on his. "Hey, about our wedding, could we have it at night?", asked the space lover. "And get married under the stars you love so much? How can I say no to that?", said Nene, rubbing her nose against Amane's.
